Season 1 really wasn't their best season. I mean it was good enough to make me want to keep watching the series, but it got a lot better after the first season.

I imagine his answer is somewhere along those lines as well.

Actually, I thought season 1 was among their best. Actually, I've liked all the odd seasons best -- I think 7 and 1 are the best two, followed by 3, 5 and 4. 2 and 6 I thought were the weakest (still great, just weaker than the rest) ... 2 kinda died in the middle, and 6 had some weird problems with Jack's family being involved.

That being said -- even in its weak seasons, it was the best show on TV by a longshot.

Agreed i loved season 1 as well it was great.

I still think Jack's best kill was the vampire bite from Season 6 (I think). That was brutal!

Even better -- he killed two guys -- hit one in the chest with an axe, hit the other with a guy with an axe in his chest. Haha.

Seasons 3 and 5 are my favorite. i really liked Chase in S3, plus Saunders making Jack kill Chappelle was truly great tv.

3 was good all around. The interplay between Tony and Michelle was good. The Chappelle thing was genius. And, the Salazar/ Gael plot twist was very well played.

I hate Kim with a passion, but so far this season I haven't wanted to kill her. So that is an improvement. I'm glad she understood about him helping out. In the past she would have thrown a fit and not understood. I guess she just needed a baby to get a clue about what is going on

And the Granddaughter is a great little actress. She stole the show in the episodes she was in, especially the first one. But man, she has a milliion teeth in ther mouth!

Does anyone else think (perhaps just wishful thinking) that they might reveal that the Russian baddies this season were behind Nina in season 1? (she was speaking russian on the phone, right?) Unless I'm forgetting something that would make that not possible?
