Saw this on BBICN, nothing else to report at this time. No idea who "Iconic Toys" is.

I have the Kato Morpheus and a custom Neo - So if this is good, it would be very welcome to go with custom Smith.

Just one question: Erm. . . What's the deal with that middle looped strap? It doesn't seem to be attached to anything. Am I missing something? Or is that to hold down "Mini Neo"?

The original prop looks as though it is based on a rock climbing harness.. in which case that loop is part of where a Belay/Rappel Device and Carabiner would be attached.

Ah, I see. Still, that strap isn't connected to anything. Poor show taking a picture up close like that IMO. Still hopeful for the figure.

I have seen the pics they submitted for approval. Dont asked me to share.

Apparently this is licensed and have been rework multiple times.

From what I have seen, The iminime Neo HS and overall figure is still the best. In fact this HS is kinda disappointing and i would actually rank it below the sunohc sculpt. It looks like a generic Neo if it makes sense.

With the shades on he looks decent but with shades off he looks like a generic older version of Keanu.

The coat detail is also wrong, especially the collar. It is missing the weird flap that the iminime version manage to get.

The boots are also sculpted so it got nothing on the SMcG boots.

Only plus is that this comes with all the weapons: m16, mini uzi, skorpians, mp5s, berettas and the harness looks better.

So keep your iminime Neo guys. It will and will still be the best lobby neo to come.

I actually sold mine because i was led to believe that this version will be far superior and it will be mass produced price.

Imagined my shocked when i saw the sample pics.

Part of me died that instant and it is a sell I regret every single moment.

I should have waited for the pics but i didnt cause it came from a solid source.

But this solid source has never seen an iminime Neo in person so I guess to a collector without an iminime Neo this iconic neo will suffice. For a collector with iminime neo, this doesnt stack up. Not even close.

The Headplay Neo is decent also. I guess the Iconic is inferior to that one too?

Interesting that it's licensed. Is it possible it looks like a "generic" Neo because they don't have likeness rights? Or is it close enough to Keanu for the rights to be required?

In any event, it's encouraging The Matrix is getting some official 1/6 love. If threezero get theirs up it could be close to the Hot Toys quality we've all been waiting for.

Iminime has hit or miss figures can I see some pics, since it sounds like its one of his better figures.
Never mind google helped but this sculpt looks off in the eyes, doesn't beat the Sammy memento figure, but is a decent neo, this Iconic Toys one must look horrible.

I have a bash that I'm fairly happy with, all I've been missing is the coat. Too bad it isn't accurate, but it will have to do. I collected most everything else over the last three years. But it still may be worth some upgrade components.

Maybe they are waiting to reveal to the public, hear the feedback and suggestions and modify the sculpt like what Asmus did. Sorry to hear your loss mate. I might be inclined to pick this up if the price is right, I love the look of priest neo the most so a lobby scene neo would be cool but not necessary.

Yeah the eyes are probably the weakest part of the iminime head, but otherwise it's top-notch (and it's a non-issue when posing it with the shades). I've seen a few repaints but still think the default paint job is best.

That the thing that guy said his wished he didn't sell Iminime figure, and its sub par to me, but this Iconic Toys one is worse so damn! It sounds pretty bad if its not as good as the Iminime figure.
