With May finally going active (which we all knew would happen), I think the show's finally starting to hit its stride.

The "muscle memory" remarks isn't anything more than them talking about a "conditioned reflex." It's the benchmark of self defense. If there's a hint to be had, it's May's, "you died" remark as Coulson's walking away after telling her he'll be the second man on the strike team.

Yeah, but why has Coulson lost his muscle memory. Maybe they're just emphasizing his age. But Coulson shouldn't be that out of practice. I dunno. Felt like something more.

K, I see what you're saying. I thought you were talking about the training scene, but you're talking about when he was trying to break down the pistol. Yeah, that raised an eyebrow and a bit more hope for him being a LMD.

Yeah. Interesting stuff. So far I like the build up with Coulson. Pretty intriguing.

Yes, something like those are different muscles... hence there's no muscle memory...

This show is building an overall story. Three segmented episodes aren't enough to begin to pick up on how good or bad it might be.

Anyone else catch that Coulson "muscle memory" comment? I think that was a hint.

I liked the reference to his cards also.

I liked Ep. 3 more than I thought I would, at least we have a genuine Marvel comic character being introduced here. The secondary characters were a little less annoying than before.

I'm surprised they showed those California hills in the background, nothing screams cheap TV show more than scenes showing California moonlighting as other places in the world. The A-Team did a lot of this.

Did anyone notice they used different shot of Sky jumping off the balcony in the actual show? I remember seeing a lot more of the stunt woman's panties in this episode's teaser.

I just finished watching ep 3 and I have to say I enjoyed this episode the most out of the 3. Still don't like Fitz (he is almost unintelligible) and Simmons isn't much better. Hope they kill off Fitz. I do like how they are building up mystery around Coulson's "resurrection" and the intro of Gravitron (sp?) Hope the show continues in this direction.

Yeah, definitely a hint. Also, even though "I'm a bit rusty" is a pretty common term. It made me think of it as a double entendre of sorts. Something to do with the tinman and being a robot and rusting etc.... I dunno. Probably thinking too much about it, but whatever

I just caught the third episode.

Ehh.. I don't know, I'm still glass half full about it, but apart from Coulson's flying car - it just reminds me of stuff I've seen before across a plethora of TV shows following a certain format.

I'll keep watching though.

Yup and that's what I'll personally do. I guarantee you that if I stop watching I won't be back in the thread.

That's just it. So many in these threads totally hate things but have to keep coming back in and telling everyone, once again, how much they hate it.

I love it when people hate on a something, then watch the it anyway, then come in the thread and say how much they hate it.

Really liked the third episode! Nice that everyone had a role and there was some good overall development-- May getting back in the game, some of the team doubting Coulson's field skills, etc.

I loved the way Coulson was just standing in the middle of nowhere when the guy on horseback came by. Pure Coulson humbleness!

I also think the muscle memory line was a significant clue to how he is alive.

I've made that argument when it comes to figures and the predictable pattern of anti-complainer complainers coming in etc etc. That's why I regretted posting my bit in here yesterday. It went against what I'm normally about on the forum. However that said, we like Ween, don't insult the Ween.

I've posted similar in threads where people post stuff like "this is ****" or "hate it" with no explanations. The thing is the majority of people in this thread seem like they are trying to like this and just giving an opinion of what they want to see changed. I just don't understand all the animosity towards people that seem to be generally open to discussion rather than just mindlessly slamming the show. Its like theres people who want this to be a **** slinging fest like other threads.
