I bought it too BC. But I don't think we're complaining so much as getting our voices heard. If anything it shows AH and Sideshow that people are very passionate about this line and these characters.

I agree with that but some just go over the top with complaining. I wasn't really talking about you cause I know the love you have for all things Jean. I do hope you get your changes that you want. The more I look at pic #2 the more I like it

Personally, I don't mind people voicing their dislike for something as long as it's constructive....instead of "oh that sucks or this sucks, it should have never been made" types

There are two things incorrect with this statement. First, Sideshow doesn't give a ^^^^ if we complain because in reality if they stopped making things because fanboys complained we'd have no more Sideshow Collectibles. The Star Wars line alone would have stopped within the first year. People have been ^^^^^ing about this line since Mary Jane and lets not forget the LOTR lines. In fact, it used to be that Sideshow listened. Remember Bespin Han's Catapillar eyebrows? It was the ^^^^^ing on the board and in their comments section that got it changed. Unfortunately the comments have gotten so toxic I don't think they take us seriously anymore.

Second, buying it regardless just keeps the status quo. The truth is that the best way to object is with your wallet and if a product sells horribly it makes them go back to the drawing board and reconstruct. The thing is many of us, myself included, usually will keep honorable and loyal to lines we collect so that never really occurs....this one isn't by any means being bashed either, more seem to like it than hate it so I would say its pretty safe that nothing will change.

Good and more power to you. I like the Mark 01 and Classic Iron Man comiquettes despite all the venom around it. If I still had my Emma I would get this regardless as well but since I have no more AH! Comiquettes this pass is easier.

See now with this the paint job looks better but unfortunately I still stand firm that theres something wong with the eyes, I really don't mind the nose although it does look great in JosephCPR's pic#2.

It's the eyes man, they needs to be more life or open or something it's like she looks dead, it too much of a cold empty stare.

And I think that area (indentation) right above her lips looks too wide and together with the nose gives her an slight simian/monkey appearance.

Look at Adam's art and that's what's throwing it.

We want this to look the most like Adam's art since it is an AH comiquette right?

Please keep in mind that this is the sculpt that Adam approved. He worked very closely with sculptor Tim Miller to get this exactly the way he wanted it. So what you are seeing is what Adam wants, in terms of the sculpt.

Here are the drawings of the head and face that Adam gave to the sculptor. Complete with what is perceived to be the "offensive" "bulbous" nose.

I wonder if we'll here from DarthSaffron, I'm sure she's seen this in person (maybe) I'd love to know if the pics do this piece any justice or what she thinks of the face sculpt ?

I have Black cat and White Queen, and Rogue on the waitlist ( Convert damn you!!! ) and will be getting this as well.

Sorry it took me a little bit; I didn't know there was a separate thread...

We haven't seen the actual statue. However we got a different photo than the ones posted, with what I think is better lighting. It was less washed out, and has nice color to it. The skin is pale; i have read a complaint or two about that. She's a red-head; they have very pale skin.

But I'll re-iterate; Adam approved the sculpt, including the nose.

Hi DarthSaffron, I just thanked you for posting the link in the other thread, Also thanks for showing up here.

As I have said numerous times before I have no issues with the nose but if you read my other posts about her eyes this is where my concerns are, in the Pic you and adam were given do the eyes look the same as te proto pics we were shown?
