i like the eyes, they seem to have a sultry, don't screw with me attitude to them.

See thats what I think Adams art pulled off, but in the staue it comes off as pretty cold and empty, there's no personality there.

the only difference in the photos we was were lighting. Its not a different paint job; its just a bit less washed out looking. I think they brows were less blonde, things like that. Lighting won't change the shape of her eyes. I'm sorry you aren't pleased with how they turned out.

Don't get me wrong I Don't hate it, I tried really hard to make sure that was understood, I just feel the expression on her face didn't tranlate as well from the art which as usual is fantastic like the other statues in this line.

Oh, this is a great piece.

Both Rogue and Jean have really been worth the long waits -- I like them a bit better than MJ and Black Cat, with more interesting poses and really lifelike faces. Whoever did them has my highest praises.

And the five of them are going to pose SO well together, it's insane. It's like Adam deliberately designed them for my shelf.

So kudos, and I won't go into the "bulbous nose/lack of eyeshadow" whatevercakes. Nitpicking won't do when a project has been handled this well from concept to execution.

Despite the negative comments I am convinced SS will have a big seller with this piece. It is a perfect match to be displayed with the White Queen for AH collectors and will also sell well as an individual piece.

I, for one, cannot wait to see what Adam is going to give us next....this line is going from strength to strength.

Have you considered that to the artist, it isn't broken, and therefore doesn't require "fixing"? Many people have expressed that they don't like certain aspects of this statue. Many have said its perfect to them. So your "fix" might make the people that like it the way it is very unhappy.

I'm sorry you don't like the statue as it is, JosephCPR. But to Adam and to the sculptor, it turned out the way they wanted it to. And many of the fans posting here seem very happy with it the way it is. Just because some collectors don't like it; doesn't mean it isn't good. This isn't a job where the likeness needs to look like a living human being; like Aragorn or Lando. This is artistic interpretation. Its not "wrong" or "bad" or "broken"; its simply not to your liking. And unfortunately, its impossible to create something artistic that everyone will agree on.

I would not change a thing about the sculpt. Its stunning. I would however just give alittle colour to the face flesh tones. I love how Adam puts alittle colour in the nose as if she is in the cold. Its very feminine. If they add alittle reddish colour to the checks and nose it will be perfect.
