AH! Tomb Raider: Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light PF

So do you think there will be another PF based on the new Tomb Raider, with a Lara that is more grounded in reality? I think it would be great with her a bit scratched and wounded but gaining confidence, holding the long bow.

It's very possible. I wouldn't rule anything out. They just might consider doing a smaller run. They have done a 12", 2 PF's and a Polystone statue. They seem to like her well enough.

Ooh, this will be fun. Now I can't wait till you get her! Her being your first. I remember I had only collected 6" and 12" Buffy items and when my first PF arrived, the Buffy PF with red pants, I was in awe at its scale. Exciting!!

I have a 1/4 statue, a Gentle Giant Sweat Pea, it is so much better than i expected it would be, very well done statue.

But i can't wait for my first PF to arrive, it should be here sometime next week

I received mine yesterday, it's a very nice statue, lara is very well done and the base is great!

I just got a second one and noticed some slight variations in the face. Everyone's make up looks the same but my second one looks different. I will post it once I get home and let everyone see it.

you're right... She's nowhere to be found on the affiliate pages she can be found but status = unavailable and price = 0$
this is weird... usually they keep them online but only searchable via a special page...

That's just it though. Once people ordered Nathan Drake they figured something would look nice beside it. They bought up all the Lara's before there weren't any anymore. Well, that's my assumption.

Same but, so much on PO for march and april.. I really had to prioritize my pre orders first.

I'd could order her on other retailer sites but its not worth the grieve incase i get a crossed eye lara croft.

That was pretty much my case as well. Making sure I had everything set before picking her up. For some reason I figured that if she was around this long -- even with Drake coming out -- she'd be there for a little longer. Alas, I suppose I was wrong. Surprised there were no "Low number" warnings, but hey, what can ya do?

Any idea as to how many of these turned out bad in terms of eyes? I've read the thread, but it seemed fairly strong in the way of quality pieces for the most part.

I'm debating an outside source as well now...it just seems that every other place is weary of returns unless it's still sealed, which makes me nervous that if I do end up with one that's a bit off, I'm basically stuck with it.

But then there's the other part of me that thinks, there's a good chance it'll be fine, and if you don't go for it, you will never have one

Exactly! You've got a ton on pre-order, and right now I've got Drake, Ivy, Obi-wan Mythos and (likely) soon to be the Batman PF on pre-order. That's not even counting the Deadpool Exclusive I have to see if it'll convert, and the upcoming Vader Mythos.

On the plus side, odds are Drake and Vader won't be until end of the year, start of next year.

And I just went back and scanned the pictures by those who received this earlier, and even those who say pictures show a lazy eye say that it doesn't look that way in person.

In short...this one may be too good to pass up, and I may look to outside sources sooner than later! The action pose is fantastic, and I'd really hate to miss it. Especially with it being "on the way out" in terms of availability...

That's how I always end up being though...I hold things off until it's no longer available and then go on a vigorous hunt to buy it, when it would have been much easier to just do it when it was available haha

But while that's the side of me, this was always a piece I wanted to get...I just never saw a limited number warning, so I figured time was there. Now I know it isn't, so I must readjust my order thinking atm!
