How often does Mondo put up new posters? And do we get a heads up?

It's usually about once a week. If you sign up for the newsletter, they send out something in the mail the day before, warning whats coming up.

Or just pop your nose in here once in a while. We're always discussing posters the second they're revealed.

Basically just "like them" on facebook and you are set as to when something is going to be released.

I love it, but the "O" in Roger kinda bugs me.

Dang it...... Love this poster, and missed out. Anyone land one??

As far as I know, only me and Bannister got one, since no one else said anything. Hopefully we get them in a week or two. In any case, Mondo said Sideshow will have a variant on their site sometime (but don't hold your breath hoping it's anytime soon.)

Mine shipped yesterday. Should be here tomorrow. I meant to get it changed to pick up in store for tonight, but didn't get around to it.

Oh wow, mine did too. Thanks for the heads up. I'm over in Michigan, so things don't get to me until 2 or 3 days after it's shipped, so I'd be betting on Monday. I'd ask for pictures when you get yours, but I'm a tad more interested in the mystery movie poster.

Don't worry, you will get pics of that. If not from me, I am sure from somewhere. I am sure pics will be up on facebook or twitter as soon as it is revealed.:lol I will definitely post pics of Roger Rabbit when it comes in.

I wanted the Roger Rabbit, especially since the movie has sentimental value that I mentioned earlier, but I didn't stand a chance unfortunately.

Just got back from Austin. Apparently it was Tyler Stout's birthday so they let him pick the movie and he chose Akira. Stout was there. They said it was his first time actually at the Drafthouse. Got to meet him and take a pic. Picked up a regular and variant of the Akira poster. Reg is limited to 180 and Variant is limited to 80. They gave you a number as you walked into the theatre to keep it orderly for buying the poster after the movie. They started out by playing the opening of The Mask as a joke. Then they announced that the screening was for Akira. They didn't show us the poster or tell us who did the poster until after the movie. They just said it was the artist's birthday and they gave everybody a cupcake as a piece of birthday cake. When Akira started they lit a firework type deal in front of the movie screen as the explosion in Tokyo went off in the opening scene. Here is a pic of the cards they gave out for your place in line. Me and Danny were 16th and 17th in line.
