Wow! Somewhere MONSTER's head must be exploding over this. Such an amazing piece.

This will be one of the most insane drops ever - even if it's $300+ Count on it. Struzan + Mondo + Frankenstein = nuclear explosion! Sellout in under 1 minute. Ordering this is gonna be Olly Moss Star Wars bad.

That all said, I have faith in tomandshell! :yess:

I'm guessing $250-275 for this because of the huge amount of layers and the intensive production process involved, plus the signature by Struzan. Could hit $300.

As far as I know, Mondo has never attempted a print with this many screens before. They could print five or six posters in the same amount of time, so expect to pay five or six times the usual price--and expect a lower edition size than usual.

Also, expect it to be one of the best looking things they've ever produced.

I believe they said their highest amount of colors was 10 on the Akira print.

If anyone wants to look at an archive site that has (most) of the prices and edition sizes along with some other unreleased and various pieces that is not on mondos site you should check out my site ..
www.alamodrafthouseposters.com .. Im a bit behind on imputing this years prints but there is still a lot there :)

Thanks, just received my shipping notice as well. This was my first time ordering from them so didn't know how long they took to ship.

Mine just came in. I am liking the variant more than I expected. The brown is pretty much metallic which didn't come through in the website pics.

Moss' Star Wars posters gave me such a rush (especially when I saw that confirmed order number)--and i'm sure it turned a lot of flippers off, which is probably why Stout's were up for longer than expected the week after, well part of the reason.

I Honestly haven't had trouble since Steamboat Willie, which I was luckily able to get because of my girlfriend.

This should be interesting and a perfect companion to my Frankenstein Bust.

...speaking of the Moss posters, I should dig them out'a the closet and get them framed sometime soon.

Don't get me wrong--I appreciate them a great deal.

There just in their shipping tube.

In my closet.

In my office.

Behind a lot of other cool stuff that I have no room to display.

Don't store screenprints rolled in the tube for an extended period of time. If you're not going to frame them, at least store them flat.

See, I have heard mixed things on this. I have heard as long as you store it in a tube standing upright then it is fine. My problem is finding something safe to store them in that is flat for the large ones.

Thanks for the advice...

I work a lot and in spurts, so things tend to build up over long period of time. I have large portfolios that I use mostly. I don't have any quite the size I need for some of the posters i have, so I'm in the process of looking currently.

I just fold them up and store them in a manilla envelope. Takes up hardly any space at all. :wink1: j/k

What's the deal with storing them rolled?

Other than easy reference, I don't know a reason. The guy who got me collecting these mentioned it, but didn't elaborate.
