No need to thank me... But nice going to GB for thinking of where to get one and Ironman for really coming through with it. It'll be one of those small details that'll really add to the figure.

Don't worry Batty I'll shamelessy take credit for the whole thing... and for the wonderful creation that Les shares with us :D But seriously, very cool of Ironman to make such a donation!

Why, you little...

Ripley is listed for the 1st Q and the Alien is showing up now in Asia... So I would assume it'll show up here soon.

Ah, boys, some Ripley ebay listings have her scheduled to ship in late October/early November... in Asia.
You know, when I ordered Ripley I thought she was scheduled for the 4th Q. Now she's listed for the 1st Q 2007.

Wow! One already sold for $105! :google

I ordered 2 Rips.

If anyone wants to know, you can pick up a Dragon A-2 Flight jacket for around $12-15 to complete her outfit. Pretty sure that's the right one.

Anyone have a screen cap of Ripley wearing her bomber jacket from "ALIENS"?

Thanks Batty, yep, that's the one, it's a Dragon A-2 flight Jacket, comes on card with jeans and sunglasses.

I'm gonna pick me up a couple... :D

Looks like to get a correct scale Newt made she would have to be around 7" -7.5" tall...

Got the Alien warrior today. Awesome pics QQB btw. Your warriors head looks to be more translucent than mine. I guess thats just the lighting.

The slide action facility works by sliding the lever, placed under the back of the head forward, and then pulling on the proboscus to lock it into place. There isn't much assembling to do. All the limbs and protruberences are a solid plastic, with the hands, feet, and tail having a solid rubber feel to them, whilst the body is solid underneath with a loose rubber outer skin. The fingers seem to have wire in them. The first time I tried to move one, whatever was inside snapped. The packaging is way over the top. It's the same size as the Predator boxes, and just as flamboyant.

I don't have, and have never seen the McFarlane one to compare it to. If it's anything like the Robocop, it may not be as detailed, but they'd be just as good and alot cheaper.
