Absolutely!
If HT give us an Aliens warrior, it has to be designed along the lines of the puppets, not the guys in suits!
Just like an Alien xeno has to be designed off Bolaji's frame, and not the stuntman's.

The Bolaji Alien would have to be about 18" then instead of 16" like the warriors.

Absolutely!

And check this out! Her teeth are indeed clear, but with embedded glitter in them! Cool eh? Never knew that one. I guess totally clear wouldn't have caught the light just right.

Hope those help.

One more...
Chestburster from ALIENS that came out of that lady in the wall.

:D

Man, I sure hope Bob keeps those in acrylic cases. I can see dust on one of them and it looks like there has been some deterioration over the years. I wouldn't keep those things exposed to the open air.

One more for the ALIEN QUEEN fans out there...

This one meant a lot to me...I actually touched her.
Still not over that in case you were wondering....that was too heady! So I took a shot to make it seem more real. It still isn't. :lol

Bob is rebuilding his museum and I think he already has made a lot of these off limits to anyone to touch like I did. He wouldn't let me touch the original ALIEN facehuggers for good reason. I think he is getting a lot of cases made.

He just has so much! What to choose gets cased first??? He has some old Kong stuff and old George Pal stuff in cases already. There is just so much.
Did you guys know he has the original derelict ship in storage in his garage? I didn't get to see it, but he has all that.

TOO MUCH!!!

Thanks! I know Bob has big pull when it comes to obtaining movie history, but man... It boggles the mind exactly what he has. A real Giger Alien? C'mon! :drool

Sorry, I just had to say this looks like "Bubba Alien" with the missing tooth.:rotfl

Man those are awesome, I used to love Bob's stuff when he brought it to Wonderfest, but he doesn't come as often now.

I'm floored, Les! Just catching my breath now, maybe because it was also a late night but I certainly didn't expect to be greeted with this today! :D

Still at a loss for words, let you know when I can find my jaw (which suddenly dropped to the floor somewhere :lol )

And in tribute to that I am using this icon for the very first time...:D

:eek

Fetch! Wait! Get back! Ahhhhhh!

WOW! Thank you so much for sharing these pictures, Les! It's a real treat for me. Thank you. You are so lucky to have seen them up close and personal like that.

Some great pictures there Les, Thanks for sharing them.

Yeah, I saw a TV program about his house; and he also has the Dropship, Sulaco, and I think I remember seeing the Nostromo and Power Loader. I also think they said he originally got into collecting this stuff when someone from Fox said they have stuff from the Alien movie that they don't want and whether he wanted to have them. He said yes, so a huge truck shows up with all the sets from Alien to be craned into his backyard. :lol
I'm sure a lot of people can't wait to go to his museum.

All I can say is Bob Burns is the luckiest S.O.B. on the planet!

And the nicest.
He earned all this stuff! Thank God for him! If it weren't for Bob, much of this stuff would have been bulldozed. No lie! At least we have some of it for the future.

Imagine what he couldn't save! That's the sad part.

When I was there, blown away, he pointed out to me this one small 8 x 10" panel. It has a spring loaded opening window door thing on it, and it's labeled like it's some kind of hardware thingie. He said it was the sole remaining piece of the "Mother" computer set from ALIEN. That small door thingie. Sad. At least he has that!

I think people generally overestimate (is that a word?) Bolaji Badejo's height. From different accounts he's been described as almost 7' to over 7'... IMDB states his height as 7'2" (2.18 mts.), but I don't know how accurate that is. Let's say that's accurate, then we'd have to add a couple of inches to account for the large head, but I don't think we'd be anywhere near 8'...
If you look closely when the alien attacks Lambert (which was without a doubt Bolaji in the suit, not the stunt man), he does not look outlandishly tall, and Veronica Cartwright is (according to IMDB) 5'8" (1.73mts.).
Anyway, if 12"=6', then 18"=9' which is clearly too much.

And I just can't get enough of those pics Les!

EDIT: Here's a pic of Bolaji getting ready to do some nasty things to Lambert:

He's a bit hunched over, but not that much, and Lambert wore cowboys boots with pretty high heels.

Just a fun attempt at a comparison chart for collectors trying to see some differences between all the movie Aliens so far....

Hope this helps ID some of them more easily. (if you can see the images or read it...can't seem to get the image to post any larger...)
