Forget the old McF 12" and even the Kenner (?) one from when the movie came out - this is the definitive Alien figure. Just seeing the tongue come out and the jaws stretch open is amazing. It doesn't have any dripping goo, but that's the only thing that's missing. The articulation and design of this thing is truly superior to anything we've seen before.
I worry a bit about all the rubber and what will happen to it over time, but for now it's easily the best solution to get maximum articulation and still have seamless look.
I got him the same day as Ed-209 and Ed is great as well, but the Alien if far more interesting to me. I'm off to get the brown one now and I'll have to see about the grid too.
