I'd don't understand why they can't send you a regular version which is still in stock? I may be in the same boat as you as the exclusive I received yesterday had tendons that were all broken up on one side. I submitted my request for a replacement but fear I'm going to get the same response as you. Why can't they have you return/refund your P.O.S. and give you $65 off a regular? All I know is, I don't care what they offer me, if it's broken it's worthless to me and they better find a way to make their customers happy. It's not our fault that their quality control is a joke:mad:
Wish broken tendons was the only issue I had.
Tendon, scuffed dome with glue residue, broken pipe, excessive filler and gaps around the dome.

The tendons seem to be a transit issue rather than factory but still they should prepare for these issues or used a more flexible material.

I haven't had my invoice yet, but almost £80 has been taken out of my bank by Fed Ex.

Remember my broken tendon wasn't in the box, I'm sure a lot of these are done in transit, but not all it seems.

That's terrible news, Col, & it's really not on & not at all fair. Sideshow need to quickly get a grip on their quality control & overall standards on 'all' products, not just some. This hobby is already far too expensive to become a crapshoot.

I haven't got my invoice yet but, given the size & weight of the thing, I'm absolutely dreading it. :panic:

Well shipping was only $43 so it shouldn't be too bad, they have messed mine up again... I'm on a first name basis with the guy over at Fed Ex invoice support.

His name is Derrick.

They failed to explain why I payed Duty & Insurance on my Red Sonja, useless!
I'll pay the £35 on this and run :D

Think para got charged £50odd on his.

They are making it up as they go then, how did they get mine to be so damn much? Psssh! I'll wait for the invoice and throw a wobbly a Derrick.

Even if much of the damage was done during transit, which I don't believe all of it was, isn't it still, ultimately, Sideshow's responsibility to ensure that their customers get there $400+ (!!) products undamaged? Who approved the packing materials that were clearly inadequate?? It's not like these brown shippers were punctured or bashed where the blame would fall on FedEx or UPS. My shipper was in perfect condition.

So it looks like there were various quality control problems in the factory that were then compounded by inferior packing materials/procedures that have led to a lot of unhappy customers. For this kind of money, I'm not sure we need this kind of aggravation.:gah:

This thread is depressing me. I received mine last week, but I haven't inspected it yet. Now I fear the worst...
I don't understand why they can't send people the regular as a replacement, and tell them to keep the nameplate. That's the only exclusive part, right? It would be nice if that was an option... Sure, the box won't match up, but for those who plan on keeping this, it could be a viable solution for some...

As I posted I got an email.
No replacements and offered $65 to keep the P.O.S!
Absolute disgrace!

The fact that the factory scuffed the dome, no way that was done in transit, and deemed it fit to pack is laughable.
Now I miss out on an item I've been waiting a year for!
THANK YOU SIDESHOW!
I assume getting a full refund was also an option?

My brown shipper has 2 pretty large holes in it. :(

Even better, just renumber the reg to match the exclusive you had so you can just keep the name plate and exclusive box etc.

PANIC OVER!!!

I've found a way to display him with without seeing the scuff on the dome...

Full refund is an option but will I lose the Reward Points I used?
Will I get the taxes I payed to the government back?

They have always refused to let customers keep the Exclusive option when no replacements are available.

With the Alien Warrior LSB didn't Sideshow say something about the colour of the writing on the base being different on the Ex. & Regular as a reason why they couldn't send people a renumbered regular as a replacement?

Yeah, they are the same, but one is blue and one is white, not sure if that is the case with the big chap?
