Christ mate I've tried it. Its so difficult. The corridors are so tight that its hard to run away from the alien lol

I watched a youtube video of the Last Survivor DLC today. I'm gonna have a lot of fun just walking around that ship. Sigourney's voice is a bonus. At one point she sings 'Lucky Star' to herself. Awesome!

I think the general consensus from the gaming community is that this game is winner. Hope they make a decent follow up. Imagine if these guys made colonial marines.

I like this game alot. It's friggin awesome. Really hope for a sequel colonial marines style as mentioned.
Been playing it on hard. Died about 5 times in 5 hours or so. It's not really that difficult once you get to gripes with the gameplay.

Colonial marines would be the complete opposite of this game though as cool as it may be. I'd rather see a Predator version along the lines of Alien isolation, or even an original property.

Oh yeah, that one is incredible! Only played first few minutes of it so far. Can't wait to see more of the ship

Right?! lol. One of the later parts of it had me on edge. That Alien is relentless.

All their talk of Aliens CM being the best thing since Aliens and so far Isolation actually appears to be the best thing since Alien3 (I LOVE THE MOVIE )

Squealed like a delirious Fanboy during the second encounter with the Alien, was so excited I forgot to be scared…

i actually have only been playing crew expendable as i've not really had time to sit down with the main story yet due to work. Im loving the atmosphere the game brings and the fact that no where is safe. The nostromo's tight areas make it very suspenseful, i did though encounter a bug with the alien it kinda trapped me behind a table, it entered the room and instead of doing his little look about then going and mosey on by as he normally would he just stopped at one side drooling all over the show and if i moved i died :/.

nice screenshot, I've gotten up close and personal with the alien more times than I care to admit as well.

That thing keeps surprising me; one time it spotted me and I darted into a room and hid under the bed. I thought I was safe and then it got down on its hands and knees, looked me right in the face, paused briefly and then ate me. Another time I ran into a room with it right on my tail and hid in a locker; it looked around and left, so I got out. Two steps later it came bolting down the hall back into the room and tackled me before I could even react. It knew I was in that room and faked me out so i'd come out of hiding. Clever girl.

They do a good job of making you never feel safe. There've been multiple occasions where I think, "well the alien isn't in this part of the game so I don't have to worry", only to be proven wrong. And I learned the hard way that yes, the alien can and will attack you while you're using the computers reading other people's emails.

So far I'm only about 30 minutes into it on the PS4. Is anybody else experiencing some audio sync problems with the speech and their lips moving? It's one of my pet peeves, and it's getting pretty bad with this game.

(Other than that the visuals looks pretty f'n amazing!!! Makes me feel like I'm in the original movie.)

I just encountered the Alien for the first time(through a cutscene) very scary so far with 7.1 headphones in a pitch dark room on my own
What makes it extra scary is not hearing anything around you, all I can hear are the atmospherics of the game

PS4 is by far the best experience as the motion tracker noise comes through the controller.
Add surround sound speakers (not headset) and your in for one hell of an experience.

Yep I love the noise of the tracker beeping through the controller. It is totally freaky! Haha!
