I like how you can't actually kill the Xeno . It restored so much dignity to it as a horror monster, rather than just a sci-fi alien.

We seriously need to have a thread for those who finished it! I have to let it all out!
Oh, and Crystal Dynamics, THIS is how you make a survival game... unlike Tomb Raider's one moment you're afraid, the next you're the bloody T-800.

I never took Tomb Raider to be a survival game. Its supposed to be a tense action/adventure game, but never really survival.
Of course, Lara goes from scared girl to Death, destroyer of worlds so quickly, lol.
actually once I got the flamethrower I found the alien easy to deal with...................until I ran out of fuel anyway
But that is how they advertized it. The slogan was "A Survivor Is Born".
And it runs out pretty quick! Gotta use it strategically. I actually felt it added another element of tension and strategy, and felt the most nervious when I had "16 Fuel".
True.... its much more terrifying this way. You can kill the Facehuggers.... they are quick little buggers but I managed to nail one with my revolver.

craft as many pipe bombs and molotovs. keeps the xeno away too.

This game is stressful! I know it's not real, but I find myself instinctively slowing my breathing and lightly tapping on my keyboard keys whenever I'm walking around and hear the Alien. The level of immersion in this is absolutely unlike anything I've ever played.
I would say a month or two is an acceptable time to wait before letting spoilers out.
