Am I the only one finding this tedious and genuinely not enjoying it?
Yeah it's creepy but it's also boring sneaking around hiding under desks to avoid the alien and it's insta-kills.
HATING the checkpoint system too. (or lack of it)

It's definitely not a game for everyone. TBH, if I wasn't playing it in VR, I might not be able to stay with it myself. Trial and error was never my thing, but I love the Alien universe and they nailed it in this.

This is my first PS4 game and I'm seriously impressed, playing destiny in the daytime and this at night :lol

Because your'e awesome. I'm an average gamer and have died a dozen times or more and I'm not finished yet. It's trial and error because the Alien is programmed to be random, so you don't know for certain when and where he'll appear and he has no set patterns.

Its classic survival horror... It's not for everyone, since it does require patience.

But i loved the save system lol.

yeah it gets pretty tense when your being stalked..... I was told the Alien could hear you saving.... with the clicks and beeps, not my experience though

Yeah, I've seen people get stabbed through the chest by its tail as soon as the save finished.

I was always weary of using saves with something nearby, so I would wait till it crawled back into the vents before I saved.

So I finished the campaign and have moved onto the "crew expendable" mission; is it just me or is the alien in "crew expendable" completely unaffected by the flame thrower? Not once has it stopped the alien from putting its little mouth through my skull, where in the campaign it was nearly always a get-out-of-jail-free card.

The Crew Expendable Alien is relentless. I made the mistake of starting with Crew Exp, and got so terrified after dying twice so quickly that I figured, "go back and play the campaign proper. Maybe it will treat me a little better going in."

Has anyone had or heard of this issue? I went to finally play the game tonight and planned on starting with the ripley DLC first. When I clicked on play game, the only option is to play Isolation. Crew Expendable, Last Survivor, and Survivor Mode are all a darker grey and it says "Game content has not finished installing". I uninstalled and reinstalled the DLC twice and the same thing happened.

Afraid not. Sounds like a PC Master Race issue :monkey3

I'm on Xbox one.......hahaha
:rotfl Then my apologies to the PC Master Race. Installation/activation problems are the kinds of issues that a console gamer should never see. Hope you get it sorted out.

Here's a dumb question I can't seem to find a firm answer on; does the $30 Season Pass include Crew Expendable, Last Survivor, and any other solo campaign missions that get released, or is it only the Survivor Mode maps and a person still has to cough up $4 per campaign mission on top of that?

I uninstalled the game and am in the process of reinstalling it. I'm thinking what might of happened was I didn't have enough space on my Xbox's HD so it didn't install properly. I can't be sure but I think I had like 8GB free when I installed it and it's a 25GB game. I deleted 80GB worth of games and I'm gonna give it another shot.

As for the season pass, I personally haven't heard anything about the crew expandeble and last survivor being apart of it, just that they'd be available at a later time which I'd assume would mean you'd have to pay extra for them. I could be wrong or they may have changed that since I last checked.
