I love the moments where I am sneaking around, enter a new room and the ALIEN is just standing there - not moving nor making noises...its scary as hell when its not doing anything!

Game is excellent. Its not for everyone, of course, but I am loving it

Cause really, any false move on your end can mean your death. :lol

I've found a new way for the game to **** with my life. Once I got the flamethrower, I'm all "YAH YAH! BEGONE!" Walking around, all cocky.

Then, my fuel runs out. It's one thing to be powerless the whole game, but to have power and THEN go back to powerless? Cruel.

Just imagine if you had to voluntarily let go of it...

Theres some kind of OCD i have with games like this that dont let me use things im given to make the game easier. I barely used it at all. Like in the original Resident Evil games when you get the magnum and scarce ammo and health. Id always complete the game having not used the magnum and still have caution health " just incase "

Yeah I found it got easier near the end, I would use the flamethrower anytime the alien appeared..... and the gadgets make it even easier.
I much prefer the no gadgets, scared ****less first have of the game and I played it on Hard as well

Now now, guys. Remember the primary complaint of those (stupid) reviewers was the game being too difficult. Myself, I wish that flamethrower had a capacity of 1500 instead of 500. In Aliens, Ripley goes flaming almost endlessly!

I do have to echo those sentiments.

The second half has been a lot of fun, because it's not like you can just run around, doing whatever.

But having my gadgets maxed out, and having a decent amount of fuel -which seems to become much more common after the

airlock escape scene
-

the stress has taken a big plunge. Even the Joes aren't bugging me as much, because I'm just, "Here's a pipe bomb", then make another pipe bomb with my maxed out supply.

Alien definitely stressed me out tonight. I'm at the part where you have to find the morleys keycard and that son of a ***** is on me like a mosquito. I'm trying to find everything collectible wise and also try to not get killed for the achievement but it's super hard and I'm just on normal. I've made it as far as the room where you find out his schedule. I was hiding in a locker and the xeno was checking it out and I had to lean back and hold my breath. As it turned around to leave I let go and it quickly spun around and ripped open the locker. I got frustrated and quit.

For the 'don't get killed' cheev, I'm assuming you can re-load the most recent save? Do you need to catch it and pause before you actually get killed?

good question. I would think I could get that achievement, especially after I completed it only dying 4 times on hard. I will try next playthrough, on unfortunate step though and :toilet_cl

You can as long as you reload the save before the end of the death animation. Once it goes to the menu the death is saved. I haven’t done the whole game but mission 5 or 6? There is one for not getting killed by the Alien and I messed up once and that worked.

I made it through the Reactor without dying but the “Insta Deaths” would probably need a back up or load previous save for it to work

Yesterday close to midnight a Joe grabbed my leg. My heart literally skipped a beat! Damn synthetics. That's why I chose Destroy in Mass Effect!
