If they made a marines game with this engine it'd be great no doubt. I just hope they can handle a more action based plot with the same respect and love they gave Isolation

If they can do that, it's a no brainer

If they make the Xenos hard to kill and ammo limited, stealth would need to be an option in it for some of the game. I think that would be a great balance.

Maybe just have it like the movie where the Marines start out in full kit until the crap hits the fan in the middle of the mission that saps out their ammo supply forcing the player to be resourceful. A full on "bug hunt" mission with a few squads of Marines would be awesome.

Power Loader needs to come into play :lecture

I remember the CA guys already mentioned their thoughts about a sequel. Basically, they think about it daily, and it would be very similar in gameplay to AI.

Both the original and Queen aliens get launched out into space and seem to be just fine. The original even climbs back up on the Narcissus before Ripley blows it off with the engine. Though less credible films, the aliens in Resurrection and the Queen in AvP can both breathe underwater, and that queen was frozen solid for over 100 years... With everything they're capable of, I have little doubt that they can "breathe" in space.

Yeah I don't have a hard time believing it either. They're bioweapons, so I'm sure it was engineered into them to survive anything to kill targets. Even Ash calls it a "Survivor."

I'm not sure what canon Isolation is following. The Xenmorphs could be biological weapons (created by the Jockeys), but they could also be creatures that evolved on their own planet, with the natural ability to survive in harsh environments.

On another note,

was there any explanation on why there was a Xenomorph nest with face huggers, and other Xenos aboard Sevastopol? I thought that the entire incident originated from only one person being "infected" by a face hugger. Is Isolation hinting that the Xenomorph that came from this face hugger, captured people and morphed them into eggs, in order to start a new nest?

Egg morphing had to be the method to create the eggs. I was so expecting to come across a Queen, but I'm very happy that I didn't.

Yes, it is.
