Turns out that about 4 developers worked on this. Probably so gearbox could pass the blame when word gets out it stinks. Seriously the footage shown 3 years ago was awesome. When you have 4 companies working on a game that's never a good sign.

There are tons of games that retail for under $30. Just not the big budget games you prefer.

There's never a good excuse to pirate games if you ask me. If you insist on playing it cheap, just wait for a huge discount which is inevitable.

well I would love to show my support and rent it atleast but you know they dont rent pc games.

My excuse is when I try a hack game and I really like it I buy it but in this care a 5hr campaign come on.

Mybe I will wait till it goes down in price and concentrate on other games that I got on my backlog list.

Yeah, that works. This day and age when it's so easy to get good deals and there's always other things to play, there's no need to pirate IMO. Not that there ever was, but the excuses people might have used in years passed are gone.

Anyways, I was planning to buy this day one, but I'll probably end up waiting for a Steam deal. Too bad. I love the Alien franchise and thought this one had real potential.

True. Hell, I paid $1 for Angry Birds, and that's the most addicting game I've played since Tetris

They never dropped the nuke they wanted to, the reactor instead went thermonuclear. They try to explain it saying it exploded upward rather than outward. Meh.

The bigger problem is they changed major things

but then don't fully explain it, and it's not looking like there will be a sequel so it's pointless.

Local co-op was announced for sure.
Dunno if it survived through the release.

I know, and I don't mind that, the thing is that he had this obviously fake enthusiasm for the staged demos, at the beginning I had high hopes, but it it turned 180° quickly, and the early impressions of the game kind of confirm it for me.
