I second that, but since I passed on Big Chap to wait on Sideshow's upcoming maquette, I'd go for Dog. Most unique of the Aliens, and looks awesome posed.

Why was the T-800 in TS so battle hardened? In the sense he took alot of punishment! I always thought of T-800 as hard but not indestructible! :lol I know McG sucks but can we have some plausible in film answers :borg

Later start date for Judgment Day, therefor more advanced technology by then could be a reason. Like Marcus, himself, being a way more advanced infiltrator than the T-800, which in the original timeline, "are the newest; the worst," according to Kyle. That is why it doesn't look exactly the same. The skeletal structure was slightly modified from original designs with the bowed upper arm beam, the deltoid plating, and thicker and more (possibly redundant) hoses.

I never knew about the JC thing. Anybody want to do a screen capture on that for everybody?

Here you go boys and girls. Exactly what I've been arguing for so long. This is straight from the link provided by Skynet.

"The name of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator is the Terminator Series 800 (shiny metal endoskeleton) model 101 (Arnold's actual skin on that skeleton)."

I would argue further to say that because the skull was designed to look like it is actually creating many of the contours of Arnold's face that that skull is also unique to the model 101. The body skeleton may have been the same on other 800s like the Columbo in '84 flahsforward scene, but the Columbo should have had a slighlty different looking skull realisticly.

BTW, that link is friggin' awesome, Skynet. Thanks.

Here's another matter settled.

"According to the LAPD computer system that the T-1000 accessed at the beginning of the film, John Connor's date of birth was Feb. 28, 1985."

Hey,
I don't know if tis has been bought up(apologies if it has) but 1 thing bothers me in T3, when the T-800 is fighting the T-X in the bathroom and the T-X picks up arnie and smashes him through all the cubicle walls, he covers his face, why? In T2 he just keeps walking while the cops shoot the crap out of him at Skynet labs, Makes no sense to me.

cheers,

Well, in T2, the cops are all over him anyway. There's no way out by convincing diguise at that point. Also, his mission to protect John and get him out of danger took priority over protecting himself cosmetically.

You could argue that in T3, he may have felt the need to still protect his diguise because he would need to find John and Kate later, and he would have no idea where that might take him. Yes, CRS was going ballistic with Skynet controlled machines, but the mission was hardly over.

Also, they tried to use too much comedy with the T-800 in T3, and that whole scene was being played over the top and less than serious. Like the odd look he gets when she grabs him between the legs. Come on...

Wow, Silent Surfer knows I exist! :borg :lol

Of course, dude. You're one of my favorite people to read and reply to in here.

Anyone got any T-2 screen caps of the Steel Mill? Like the pivotal scenes where Arnie fights the T-1000/ the gears/ Arnies damaged face. :borg would be a big help guys :D

Not that anyone will notice after the kinda new pic of the HT T-800 in the other thread but I found this great resource for T2 screengrabs - 15 pages worth in chronological order!

https://mikes-images.com/misc/t2/index.htm

I'm sure some people might already be aware of it as I think I've come across some of these very same screengrabs (as in down to the frame) before.
