They're both from Lonnie at Hero Heads, they're not on his PDF catalogue though so I just asked him for them when I was outbid on them on eBay. He just gave them to me for the standard $10 .

The Hudson head is the one with the lip hair which I prefer to the worried look version and Ripley version seems to be kinda rare on these boards - I dont think I've ever seen pics of one here, I guess everyone is happy enough re-painting their standard HT head.

WOW! You got one signed by almost the entire cast! Personalized too? I can't believe it! Can you please post what each of them said with their signatures? How did you get all of those? Were they all at the same convention together? I had won a signed ALIENS one-sheet movie poster on eBay. But it was only signed by Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton, Lance Henricksen, and director James Cameron. But the seller tried to screw me, and not send it to me after I paid her! I got my money back from Paypal. Someday I'd love to have a cast signed ALIENS poster just like yours nicky!

By the way, check with Les Walker for some incredible custom painted heads! You've gotta see his "spikey-haired" Hicks, Hudson, and repainted Ripley, Drake and Vasquez!

The sigs don't say anything really special except for Christopher Henn who wrote "it sucked" when referring to being cut out of the film. The others basically gave quotes from the film or "best wishes/good luck/ nice to meet you/best wishes". Al Matthews wrote "Keep your ammo dry" Jeanette Goldstein wrote "See you in November".

They're not all from the same con but all are from England. The first was May 2004 and the rest followed since then at various cons. See the pics below including when I met John Hurt who signed my Alien mini-poster (Kotto and Cartwright already on it) and Charles Dance from Alien 3. I have pics of everyone who signed my posters but not on this PC.

Yes, I've seen Les's custom paints and have a spikey hair Hicks on order from his last batch. I re-painted my own Vaszquez, Drake heads and then got my own custom heads which I painted for Ripley and Hudson from Lonnie at H2.

There's just not any conventions down here in Louisiana like they used to be. I could drive or fly to Dragon Con one year. Maybe I can stay with Les Walker for that?

I have pics with everyone else that has ever signed for me on my posters Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and AvP but they're all in a photo album back in England (I'm in Ireland now) so wont be able to post them up till Nov 2nd when I go to the next con to meet Spunkmeyer and oh yeah and I forgot, I meet Alien 3's Golic (Paul McGann) a 2nd time too.

Are they all nice people to meet? Most of them were yes, with the exception of perhaps a couple. Yaphet Kotto wasn't that talka-tive (I had to keep the conversation going for us) but was still polite. Mark Rolston was nice when I first met him but the 2nd time (at the end of that day) he was busy counting the money he made with his assistant from signing and "shoo-ed" me away after a few mins so he could get back it. All I wanted was to thank him for a great day and the Q+A. Was not a nice memory of him.

The most fun to meet were Barbara Coles (cocooned woman), Jay Benedict (Newt's dad), Rico Ross (Frost) and Colette Hiller (Ferro) and Alec Gillis who spent ages talking to me and answering my Qs. Al Matthews (Apone) is quite a character - just like in the movie, very loud and agrresive but in a funny way. He was PISSED about HT making a fig of him!!!!

^^ Hudson's real armour (and Halcyon facehugger) as supplied by armourer Terry English - nice chap! Nobody including him, were sure what the little devices hanging from the waist were supposed to be. Terry thought they were grenades but we already saw them used by Gorman/Vasquez's suicide and they did not look like that. I always thought it was a battery like the smart guns' ones but didnt know what it was meant to power-up. No one seems to know what the hell they are meant to be.
