I heard a lot of people finding it in stores for $59.99. Though I didn't find grimmy at my local TRU, they did have a mylar up on the shelf and it was listed for $79.99. Seems almost not worth it anymore if others were/are able to get it for less.

Okay, I'm not saying Hasbro rushed this new MP Grimlock, but he was upside down in the box, no instruction manual (thank goodness for his straightforward transformation), and his joints are hecka loose.

Still, I'm very happy to have picked him up for $80! :joy
Well, Thundercracker had instructions, but they were the ones for the MP-03 figures. Is it worse to have no instructions at all, or the wrong ones? :lol I thought the material used for Soundwave's box was pretty cheap, and actually preferred the old plastic boxes. But the best boxes of all are Takara's IMO. They scream class.

So, I just preordered all three versions of OP's transformable pens.

$150+ on pens. Jesus.

So there's a short review and some pics of Daca's Kronos (i.e. Skyfire) up on TFW... I realize they keep saying it's a test shot, and colours will be fixed, yadda yadda, but it kind of looks crappy to me...

I've pretty much written off all third party companies, other than Fans Toys. I was cleaning my shelves over the weekend and spent more time with Quakewave and realized how incredible the quality is. Fans Toys has my money exclusively when it comes to 3rd party stuff.

Daca Toys lost any credibility when their guy went off on a rant against a potential customer who made a joke about the landing gear situation.

He also seems to be paranoid about Fans Toys and never misses a chance to have a dig at them, even going as far to post a picture of Kronos posed as if it was standing on the groin of a Scoria test shot he'd managed to acquire :cuckoo:

At that point things got a bit heated, mods had to step in and a lot of stuff was deleted including the picture.

Test shot or not it's clearly not close to living up to the hype and I expect many people will either go for the cheaper option once the Generations Leader Class Jetfire is released or just wait for Fans Toys.

Yeah... I fogured out what it is i dislike about Kronos.

It's the same thing i dislike about Igear's Arcee.

The face is too lifeless.

and after reading the review, the copous use of diecast inside the torso concerns me.

I haven't bought a Takara release since MP Megatron. I need to get a Sideswipe ASAP. I want to scream class!

If his legs are loose try tightening the two screws in his buttcheeks, seems to work for some, also the future floor polish on the leg ball joints helps too.

Coming to SDCC 2014, the Knights Of Unicron!

This is the most ridiculous, yet completely awesome Transformers set I've ever seen :lol

Haha. It is ridiculous. But for some reason I wouldn't mind having them.

At least they look better than Kronos.

I get that they're supposed to be '80s rockers I guess, but is this in reference to something? Like an episode of the cartoon, or issue of the comic? I love '80s music, and I love Transformers, but I have no interest in these.
