I get that they're supposed to be '80s rockers I guess, but is this in reference to something? Like an episode of the cartoon, or issue of the comic? I love '80s music, and I love Transformers, but I have no interest in these.

it's mostly self referencial. it's simply a joke, and nothing more.

they're an 8o's hair metal band. and transformers are from the 80's, and the animated movie used alot of hair metal.

or more simply, it's a Meme in action figure form.

The only person whining is you because we won't all join the Cult Of Kronos and blindly give our money to a guy that on recent evidence appears to have some kind of paranoia about Fans Toys being out to get him and who lashes out at potential customers who were trying to have a joke about the whole landing gear scenario.

Such behaviour reveals much about the true nature of someone who's tried to pass himself off as a benevolent hero standing up against the evils of businesses who want to make a profit from their efforts.

There's also the fact that Skyfire isn't very high on the ladder in terms of popularity, he didn't really do a lot in the cartoon and didn't even have a particularly memorable look in either mode, he was very bland.

In that sense Kronos is accurate. It's big and white and that's pretty much it.

So when there are two companies making Masterpiece level figures of the perennial fan favorite Dinobots and Takara are making increasingly amazing molds like Wheeljack and Bumblebee the reaction for any figure of a character like Skyfire will always be muted, no matter who made it.

Kronos isn't awful, it's just not very intresting.

I get that part of it,but those who liked Skyfire's appearance in the cartoon are happy with it so far...how many other transformers that had limited appearances that were just as uninteresting

I know you're a Fantoys fanboy who defends everything that have done so far (which is very few figures so far).I get it! you're all about Fanstoys and so far they seem to be making an awesome Dinobot line

Just not sure how you guys can condemn the figure based on test shots without seeing a review or having him in hand in person...SKyfire is a white bland character from the cartoon,a figure that MANY wanted but never gotten back the day.

I could say Fantoys Shockwave sucks because I never cared for him much at all, which is exactly how some of you guys sound when ripping on the Kronos figure....

I could care less about Daca Toys and Fan Toys fighting with each other,I want great looking figures and so far Daca's Skyfire looks great....you're more than welcome to buy Fan Toys Skyfire for $250+ price tag its going to have

I hope the Daca Fire is the best 3rd party former ever. I'm not gonna order it, but I sincerely hope Daca becomes such a force and delivers on such good product that I rue the day I didn't po, every time I see one for sale for $500 +. And why wouldn't I? The more product to choose from, the more win for me as a fan. Plus, the guy is a poster here on freaks, anytime a fan has a chance to become a producer, more power to them.

That being said, I would rather pay twice the price and get it from a company like Fans that I know delivers good product, that's just me. It sounds weird and I know it, I can't explain it, but it is what it is.
