According to the TFW2005 website, Takara will be releasing Masterpiece Ironhide on December 1, 2015. I don't really see the price of it being on $65 though, but I hope it is!!

I have been collecting transformers again. it has been over 10+ years since I collected transformers. I have massed some good ones like quake wave ft soar aka swoop im going to collect all the dinobots. I have bad cube`s brawn . xtransbots megatron Hasbro`s soundwave. I need the jets all three yet. I have mp-10 takara version. prowl wheeljack bluestreak red alert smokescreen. im still looking for lambor and bumble bee to round out the autobots. I am bidding on cubex`s huffer so hopefully I can win him.

I am thinking about collecting TFs again... a little. I bought the SDCC Devastator and picked up the regular hasbro release yesterday from TRU. I like it. Fun toy. Not sure I need to keep both. I put a Takara on order as I like the extra head it comes with but we'll see how I feel in 5 months.

I am planning to grab a MakeToys Giant again too.... that was the last TF I sold a few years ago when I dumped my TF collection and it is the one I miss the most aside from MP-08 and MP-10. I plan to get those as well and get some other MPs but not go the repaint route I did last time. MP-10, MP-08, a bumblebee, soundwave, starscream, prowl, wheeljack and lambor is probably sufficient... and a quakwave. I know I'd like to get all those back eventually. The ones I am unsure of are Quantron and the FT dinobots.

I ordered Commotus too though from MMC, because that thing looks AMAZING.

Yeah, it's really missing some chrome or silver paint. It would really push it over the top.

You can see a few that don't quite fit in (Mirage & Ratchet for Example) but everything else looks so good.

Looking at that though I never realised how big Magnus really is.
With the older pics he never looked that big but man he's a beast & fits much better than I previously thought

The Dino's look fantastic together too.

Anybody knows if Gigapower is still around? I have ONE Dino because I decided to pass on the FT ones.

FT's dalianj recently commented that the designer of Guttur is no longer with Giga Power and cited it as a possible reason for why they haven't revealed anything else beyond line art.

He didn't elaborate any further but his info usually rings a lot more true than all the "he tell me" stuff so it would seem that Giga Power may have an uncertain future.

Did the parts swap to the lighter colors on Tesla/perceptor... Lighter blue looks much better in my opinion!

No it wasn't bad. The issue is on the new parts. The new holes are not threaded. So basically when you screw together the new parts, you are threading the new posts. So it requires a decent screwdriver and plenty of pressure as you screw in the screws. The screwheads getting chewed up is because people are not applying enough pressure or force when they are screwing in to the new parts. Or using crappy screwdrivers that don't fit right.

I got Tesla last week but I don't trust myself to swap over the parts without messing something up. I managed to mess up the KFC hands for MP Soundwave so I'm not that confident This does look a lot better though.

To avoid stripping the screws on Tesla you need to use a JIS ( Japanese Industrial Standard ) screwdriver.

Looking on ebay it looks like it'll be around £25-£30 for me to get a set of those, with the amount of 3rd party figures I get it might not be a bad investment as there's bound to be other figures with screws that need some kind of adjusting.

Thanks for the tip Now I think about it my current screwdriver set is from Poundland, that might just have something to do with why I've been stripping screws on 3P figures

Jay...Ironhide is coming. One of my favourite car robots. Though it would be nice to have Hound as well as there has been some rumors about him as well.
