I'm not sure but I do know it's not an official product.

lerath666,
Aside from the TRU reissue of the G1 toy Music Label Soundwave is indeed the nearest you'll get to a Classics Soundwave that turns into a tape deck and it fits in very well with the other Classics.

There's unlikely to ever be an all new version as Hasbro don't feel it would sell very well due to modern kids not knowing what a tape deck is,though the all new Ravage cassette included with Hound would somewhat contradict that line of thinking.

just saw the Titanium series soundwave. Someone mentioned he's got loose joints, but he looks like he' work as well. anyone know if the tape from hound would fit in him?

also loose joints + superglue = no more loose joints

Sadly not. The only thing the new Ravage will fit in is G1 Soundwave/Soundblaster or any of the reissues of that mold.

Bah, just as well. would still likely look good posed with him. No such thing as scale in transformers, right? :lol

One word can be used to sum up the scale in Transformers and that's "inconsistent".

Also here's a pic of the new Ravage with the Music Label Soundwave,

I think Ravage looks fine with this Soundwave, not sure about the Titanium one though as I think it's quite a bit smaller.

i had to postpone getting snake eyes to keep Grimlock. hurry up and ship him to me already! yeah...March 30th it is for me too.

Aye, I'll be waiting to see if Grimlock is released stateside, it's a cool figure and all but not $150 cool... considering the other larger masterpieces were much less.

In other news, I finally scored a Universe Inferno tonight! First one I've seen around these parts... of course, I left it in the car, so no pics...:duh

holy piss the music label soundwave looks ^^^^ing fantastic... kinda wish I'd gone for him instead. what kind of articulation has he got in his legs and hips?
I got the titanium one for 22 shipped... and i'm not even sure he has articulated hips.....

Speaking about Masterpieces and the awaiting of Grimlock, can't wait to incorporate Grimlock in something action shots with Megs!!!

at least grimmy wont take 1 and a half hours and FOUR attempts to transform like MP megs did:banghead:lol (ive got him down to 10 mins now!) not sure about the twisty head gimmick on dino mode grim!?-bit cheap-older toys ive had that have had a similar mechanism-it usually packs in after time/overuse,even in the video for MP grim, hes head was doin its own thing already-i dont think your supposed to rotate the head all around like the guy was doin as it probably messes up the aligment of the mech inside usually resulting in the moving part in this case the head sticking at wrong angles or becoming floppy over time! best to move robot mode head left or right-not upside down me thinks!!
