Whats with the variations of Prime's?..the Classics Prime looks like crap IMO, and "shattered Glass" what is this version about?($150 WTF why?), Prime in Drag attire?..The only Prime i own (besides voyager movie prime,which sucks) is Takara Masterpiece Optimus Prime with long stacks..there is no better Prime then this one, i will get Optimus Leader class from the new movie as well as it looks way better this time around.
Depends. i've got the masterpiece prime as well, but i don't have room for all the masterpiece formers. they're just too big with the 16/th stuff i've already got. the universe classics set is Small, and they're all more or less homages to their G1 designes. not perfect, but close enough for me. Better than the Awful movie designes anyways.
Shattered Glass is a comic that came out a year or so ago, to explane what Happens to Clifjumper. Everyone thinks he gets killed, when instead he's shunted into a parallel universe ( think Sliders). After arriving there, he finds the Autobots to be evil, and the decepticons to be Heroic. This is the version of Prime from the comic.

The particular figure in question is from the Shattered Glass Box set from Botcon last year. they do exclusive figures for botcon as sets, and the sets are usualy 200-300$. Prime generaly goes for 200$ by himself, but i was able to snag him for 150$ with shipping. is it overpriced, yes, definitely, but then, people pay upwards of 600$ for hicks, and Patient zero, and I think that's silly too. But still, if you love something, it's worth it.
Speaking of the universe line, MP grimlock is great becuase he fits in with the Universe Prime scale-wise, So I'm planning to get one. and Thanks for pointing me to TFW2005 Valfar, BOTH of them came from there today. I got The city commander set, AND magnus for 130 shipped
