Does anyone here have the 20th Anniversary Battle Damaged Optimus
and the 20th Anniversary DVD Edition Optimus and have a preference between the two? Thanks

20TH Anniversary all the way. DVD Prime is a pile of garbage. No chrome, and horrible pinky-red paint.

i own the toysrus prime that came in the g1 style packaging after replacing it with the crap prime that came with the talking stand! differences are the eyes are translucent like the takara version,slight battle damage on the arms and chrome smoke stacks! overall much better and it only cost £50! toysrus has loads of the battle damaged version and i wished id have brought a couple more at the time! takara is obviously the better one then the battle damaged hasbro one then in 3rd place comes the hasbro one with the talking stand crap!

yeah, that's the thing. I know he's just mostly a repaint, but I just hope they look different enough even if they're standing next to each other. And anybody know any good places to get MP-07 Thundercracker? I had no idea his price went up all of a sudden

Same here, he's the only one I'm missing in my MP collection. Was waiting for hasbro to release him. BTW, is there any difference with the takara grimlock and hasbro us grimlock?

And finally my last weekend pick up.

Probally the only real good character from those god awful movies. The removeable blades and addition of guns is what sold me on this and well, he has a cool transformation, also the fact he is pretty much a shrunken down leader Prime and will fit in nicely with the other few movie figures i like.

I'm thinking about customizing this one as well.

You're right, it sure doesn't. This thread is all-inclusive. There's a special thread made by karamazov80 himself for people who can't tolerate anything Transformers-related that came after 1988. Is it too much to ask that they use it?

Hehe thats exactly what i did too. I got me some lovely chrome plated die-cast ones. That was the first thing i did as soon as i got my priem actually. He just didnt look right without them...like he had been emasculated or something.

And yes, HFTD Voyager Prime is great. Even better with some nice chrome and a few extra paint apps. Go ahead and show us what you do to yours if you decide to paint him.
