Can't wait to see the pictures. Did you sand down the nubs where the pieces are attached to the plastic model trees or did you just leave them be?

Well i did my best, but some areas where I sanded there was still a stress mark. I don't think it looks too bad, but then again I have been staring at the damn thing since noon today. :lol

I finally found a MP Megatron without orange plug for sale in Canada.:yess:

I was afraid of importing it becaue of customs.

The only thing is it's coming from the west coast and it's going the the slowest speed so it will be awhile before I get it :(

He'll go good with Prime, Grimlock and Skywarp.

Now to complete the Seekers!:lecture

congrats man! I still need MP Megatron and Starscream. Not too sure if I'll get Hot Rod. It will have to be an impulse if/when i see it at TRU

With the new MP Optimus being made in a smaller scale, has there been any speculation that they'll produce a new MP Megatron in scale with MP-10 Optimus?

I want Masterpiece Soundwave and Shockwave as well. Make it happen Takara.

that would be interesting. See, now you got me wanting to wait on the current MP Megatron to see if there is going to be another one at the smaller size :gah::lol

general word from the guys who leaked mp-10 over on TFW is that takara and hasbro are Done with Transformers that turn into guns. so any new MP megs ( and there is apparently NOT one in the works yet) will be a G2 megs.

take that for what you will, just know it came from the same guys who leaked the info about the new mp-10 being the redone optimus, and mp-11 being a new starscream.

so, you want a G1 megatron, , your only real options at this point will be igear., or getting the reissue megatron.

The lack of a gunmode doesn't bother me. Especially since there's a lot more they can do with a tank mode. Would be pretty cool to have a G2 Megs as well, and it has repaint value for a G1 colored version.

And first pics of MakeToys' Devastator! Looks like it will be a smaller, cheaper alternative to TFC's take on the big guy, scaled with Colossus.

Looks nice, but like that Bruticus the individual Constructicons will be too small.

IMO combiners should be made of nothing smaller than a decent sized Deluxe.....TFC for the win.

I'm fine with this for Megatron as I would just get the Igear version. However, if they make Shockwave, I'd want him to be a blaster.

seriously, am I the only idiot here without skills to do all these incredible paint jobs?:lol I bought a Leader Ironhide because I thought he looked great and then I see the ones people have customized on here and now, I can't stop staring at the all blue legs on mine:thud: I was considering Sentinel Prime today but saw pics and again, the customized pics just make it not worth it for me to pick him up. About how much do these custom paintjobs run?

I don't think it's terribly difficult to learn. Just buy an air brush...and learn by trial and error. The great thing about transformers is that they aren't expensive toys so it's quite affordable to practice.

The only difficulty would be dismantling the toy and reassembling it during the painting process.

If you live in the USA perhaps.

Doing so in Europe would require a sizeable budget due to the fact that Transformers are so much more expensive at retail and because the poor distribution means a lot of stuff never even sees a retail release.....imports are often the only way of getting a particular toy.

So blowing a lot of cash on toys that would get trashed during the learning process isn't such a clear cut issue.

There's also the fact that not everyone has a feel for doing that sort of thing or as in my case they could have a health issue which prevents holding something like an airbrush steady damn nigh impossible.

Do some research into fibromyalgia and see the effect that can have on a person's joints.....sometimes holding something as simple as a cup of tea can be painful so fiddling around with a Transformer to the extent a custom requires isn't an option.

I can give you a quote if you are interested, but they generally arent cheap but well worth the expense as you'll have a 1-of-a-kind toy.

Niiiice, Now that's an Ultimate Prime. Where'd the blasters come from?

Thanks dude, they are scratch built.

Would you be finishing my Battle Blade Bumblebee any time soon?

And the first Wreck-Gar which just needed one of the MaidenJapan heads painting to match it?

Just sayin' :peace

WOW!!! That Devastator is fracking awesome!! About how much is that one or the TFC going to run?

Your first born, and a couple of arms or legs probably.

No kidding, right :lol Is there anything along those lines with Shockwave? Those two are my all time favs and would be the only ones to get me back into collecting TFs! I'm already getting bled dry with Predator stuff.
