He's the same size as MP Rodimus which makes him taller.

He appeared in MTME, but his toy wasn't released until '85. But it's a no brainer that they will make him.

The MP10 is 90% visually acceptable IMO. Everything is prfect EXCEPT those dam cankles. It really spoils an otherwise perfect prime that would be the definitive prime. So at the moment MP1 and MP10 both have their pros and cons aesthetically speaking.

Yeah, if he was in the first story arc that should be good enough. Either way, I'd rather iGear concentrate on TFs like Shockwave, i.e. those who were neglected in the Classics/Henkei lines, as opposed to strictly first season bots. They should focus on either Classics/Henkei releases that weren't really very G1 accurate (like what they're doing with Ironhide and Ratchet) or those Hasbro/Takara Tomy didn't do at all.

After Ironhide/Ratchet, the Conehead Seekers, Minibots, and maybe guys like Trailbreaker/Hoist, Soundwave, Shockwave, the Insecticons, Blaster, Perceptor, the Dinobots, etc... that's when they should maybe think about a Countache Sunstreaker and other Season 1 characters that have pretty good official versions available...

if t were just the bots, I'm sure you'd be correct. but he's a gestalt. , so, like vintage devs, and bruticus, ( especially because he's made of small sized bots) he's going to be kinda partsformy.

and those extra parts WILL drive the price up.

look at the reissue red version of fansproject Not-swindle. it's much less than the original one with bruticus parts was.

Mark my words, 60-70 PER bot for this new devs.

That's what i'm saying., the new re-released one is 49.99 and has NO bruticus parts.

I skipped Not-swindle ONLY because he was 59.99, and I didn't have that much extra available to me. with the american dollar being weaker now than it was a few years ago, i'm expecting each of the New not-devs bots to be 59.99-69.99 BECAUSE it will include extra parts to make devs.

Unrelated. I seem to have a defective perceptor, that, Or i broke mine. the little tab in his back that pegs into him to hold his "backpack" and shoulders in place snapped. any suggestions on fixing it?

They pulled the search down because of the massively increased traffic due to the movie. It was slowing the rest of the site down, so they pulled it for now.

Generation 1 Omega Supreme, updated with a more modern approach. One of many's favorite Autobots and toys, I went to town with articulation and details.

Still hoping Hot Toys gives us some non transforming figures. Can not even imagine what they could bring to that license, but I have a feeling it ain't coming

Thanks for the info. I was judging the future price with a toy from the wrong company (fansproject). So, swindle was made by Maketoy?

Regarding the budget: I hear you. Maybe they'll sell the whole constructicon set together for a discounted price. You, since their devastator is done already and not being made and announced one piece at a time.

It seems sturdy man. And to prevent breakage just put a hair dryer on the part that has the plug for a few seconds. The joints are soft plastic so they will heat up and let the ball be pulled out easily.

Maketoy and fansproject are Kinda the same company. they're both owned/ started by the same guy, but have different development teams.

'll be passing on the maketoy version, the bot modes on the individual cons don't appeal to me.

Sticking with the TFC version, thankfully as it's being released a bot at a time, I've managed to shoehorn it in to the collecting budget.
Had to cancel alot of other things though.

I don't have him Thom, he seems pretty fragile. I saw that video too. I think I am going the Revoltech route. Sure not as super-accurate but it's more affordable and is pretty cool too. Or go the Takara route with JetWing Prime.

Don't paint them Thom, if you build them and don't like them and they're painted it will hurt the resale value. Just sayin'. Also in the Latin alphabet, "Optimus" begins with an "I".
