Well. . .I guess some there, just like some here, can do that. But I've seen a lot of childishness over there, as well, and the _____ing/complaining/arguing about Transformers minutiae easily rivals the worst that I've seen over Hot Toys here. Maybe I was browsing the wrong sections of the forum? Being a casual Transformers fan, I'm sure I don't know where to go or who the "cooler" members are as well as you do, Nick. Also, the strong sub-culture that has an infatuation with the scantily clad pre-teen anime girls makes me uncomfortable.

Oh don't worry Dr. Sam, I am in no way inferring that TFW is better than the Freaks. Trust me there are just as many _______s there as there are here. I just like that there is no language filter there. That's what I meant. I don't cuss at people as much as I swear to describe what I'm feeling. And I usually stick to my local meet-up group there and other forums but that's about it. I am a little burnt out on 1/6th right now and Transformers has always been my go to line. Well LEGO too. I dunno it's the internet so everything is so subjective, but at least this thread is A-OK. Miss YoNose but not DUBZ.

p.s.-Yes I agree with you on the c r e e p y side of Anime.

Hotspot from the Inferno mold = Not a combiner but should be OK.

Springer from the Tomahawk mold = FansProject must be laughing their asses off

Megatron from the Bludgeon mold = The alt mode works but the robot mode....doesn't.

Swerve from the Kup mold = Whatever.

Wheelie from the Jazz mold =

Looks like I'll be staying 3rd party only for a good while yet!

Yeeeaaahhh... I do. He's not out in my parts of the woods yet, and I'm not desperate to have him, so I'm not going to buy him from Ebay or whatever.

I would really have preferred a voyager Ratchet, but I'll probably buy one when I see it in stores. I mean, who knows? Might be the only version we get.

I paid $107 shipped for mine (from Japan, mind you), which hurt a bit (shouldn't have waited to preorder, oh well), but seems like a good deal now. I did a quick check and there was one for $140 now? Maybe including shipping?

I just bought the FP Springer recently - I feel pretty good about that, now.

One of the retools in the Prime line is also a bit odd,

Brawn from the Voyager Bulkhead mold.

Historically Brawn's defining character trait has been that he's a little guy with immense strength so that's clearly going out the window.

Masterpiece Sunstorm is now confirmed as the first retool of the new Starscream mold.

Latest pics of iGear's Brawn & Cosmos,

One odd thing about Cosmos is that he's been redesigned quite a bit whereas the other Mini Warriors stick closely to the G1 designs so there's a lack of consistency in the line already which could have been avoided.

Cosmos does look great however so it won't affect my decision on whether to buy him or not.

The increased scale from their previous Minibots will of course mean a price increase but the quality of the products should justify it, Brawn in particular looks amazing.

I'm really liking the igear Brawn, though his thighs seem a little short. I'm not interested in Cosmos though, or most of what Hasbro have previewed at the CybertronCon...except the FOC Starscream due early next year. The more Prime toys they put out the more money I save...I'm really not liking their designs especially the Decepticons.

WOW iGear Brawn looks sweet & will be a must buy.
Not 100% sold on Cosmos...I never really liked him as a character but I might buy him just to have him.

I havent bought any TF toys since the last iGear minibots & this weekend was no different but I did add something Transformers related.

It's the beginning of what will eventually be a full colour wrap around.
I don't mind saying but it hurt like buggery.
Still it was well worth every ounce of pain & I can't wait to get it finished.

FOC Starscream is a nice design but like Shockwave, Prime and Megatron from the same videogame series would look considerably nicer in toy form if it was a Voyager instead of a Deluxe.

Apparently these are only Asia exclusives, which is good since the only one I'd be interested in is Hot Spot maybe.

But the G1 color versions of movie Starscream and Ironhide should be pretty cool.

I cant wait for that FOC Starscream though. It looks AMAZING!!!
