I assume that info came from the various "insiders" at TFW. I'm not casting doubt on their connections or anything, but even insiders can be mistaken, or even more likely... things change.

So Another month another session & the leg is getting closer to finishing

had 2.5hrs last week & finally got round to taking some photo's today.

Spent a lot of time doing highlights & adding finishing touches to Prime before we got the Decepticon Symbol done.

Got another session on the 30th November & all being well we'll get the bulk of Soundwave done & then it's just finishing touches & filing in the gaps with some background work in January.

Anyway so far I'm over the moon with it & can't wait to get in the chair again

I have been charged & received tracking info from Toys R Us for my MP10 Optimus. Glad to be getting it!

If you don't really like the eyes on the Takara version you could unscrew the head on it and repaint the eyes a light blue/baby blue and it would greatly improve the look of that version.

It's mainly the blue parts like the legs, hands and head actually. The hasbro color is more accurate to the cartoon.

Got my TRU Prime today, loving it, the colors are a little too cartoony for me, but way cheaper than getting the Takara release. The trailer is a really nice touch, sculpting everywhere on it.

Finally got my Rage of Hercules and Passion of Hercules sets. Very very cool. Its gonna be hard to chose how to assemble Herc. So many options to configure him.

Got notice from TFSource that striker prime is shipping soon so I went hunting for in hand pics and scored. looks awesome!

If the info I was told is legit Prowl will be next year after Soundwave's tapes and the Nemesis Prime repaint of MP10.

Sunstreaker is more likely to be the back end of 2014 towards the end of Takara's current deal with Lamborghini as I was told that they want to get a few other characters out there first....if it's as G1 accurate as Sideswipe the wait will be worth it.

Such info has to be taken with a pinch of salt for now but the Takara insiders at TW2005 have been pretty good with recent predictions so I think it's reasonably safe to say that at least some of the info is legit.

For me yes it is. First off it comes with a really nice box (display worthy) and a excellent poster and cardboard poster type thingy. As for the main components of the set, I believe this set is another addition that should be picked up by all Herc owners. All pieces are solid in terms of quality. And its great to have options to switch up Herc's overall appearance. Believe it or not Ive had all the Herc bots since they were first released and havent even combined them yet! I know thats crazy talk! (no room to display him yet) So I really cannot comment on how the rage set looks on him personally,but from what Ive seen posted he will be magnificent! I now have at my disposal a great amount of options to display him and that was my main concern.

I love how he is out of the box and I love what Ive seen of his more G1 appearance with the rage set. It will be nice to change him up every once in awhile and with the rage set it is a pretty drastic change. Add the different heads from the passion set and Im set. Id say if your on the fence go for it!

When you finally click the last component on Herc into place it'll be a very cool moment, TFC did an amazing job and I think Herc was instrumental in providing Takara with the wakeup call that's resulted in the spectacular new direction of the Masterpiece line.

I like Herc as he is but more options to display him would be nice so I'll add it to my wants list which is currently,

As far as I'm concerned Disney can have Hasbro as they have nothing else to bring to the Transformers franchise, or nothing good anyway.

Takara should have said "Thanks for creating the G1 characters & backstory, you can go away now" a long time ago.

I'm not a big fan of the movies, but I have to admit, as a stand-alone display piece, that's pretty nice.

Optimus' design was probably the best in the entire series, even with his white trash flames...

I like Herc as he is but more options to display him would be nice so I'll add it to my wants list...

It's worth it just for the gun, in my opinion. I'll add the forearms at some point too. Right now, I'm pretty happy displaying him as is (w/the RoH gun) since I only just put him together a couple weeks ago.

I was looking forward to Hasbro potentially losing the SW license as a result of this, actually. I'd really like them to start focusing on their own in-house 3 3/4" brand, GI Joe. We've seen some great things lately, granted, but nothing like in the '80s, when they were forced to compete with Star Wars. They've taken a back seat ever since Hasbro bought Kenner.

As far as Disney potentially "changing" things, if this rumour is true, I doubt they'd have any kind of negative effect.

I thought Mattel was the "biggest" toy company, though?

I will readily admit that I can be a large hypocrite sometimes

I'm even weakening a bit on MP11 as I'd like a Starscream that stands out a bit more than the iGear one in robot mode....the grey that Takara used is the closest to the G1 toy yet and I like the idea of the Decepticon Air Commander looking slightly different to his grunts.

One thing I won't change my mind on is MP10 as an alternative Prime or replacement for Faith Leader.

Ultra Magnus will be considered if the armor is good enough to cover up the ugliness of the mold underneath.
