F**********CCCKKKK. I just read over at Seibetron.com that MP-13 is delayed until late Jan 2013!!! I have both MP-12 and MP-13 ordered from RK, so this means I wont get both until then!!!! F**********CCCKKKK!!!! And I was hoping for an awesome Xmas!!!

I already asked them to split the shipping and how much extra I would need to pay. They said they would have to refund the whole lot and make me reorder both separately, and I might get pushed back in the priority order or some ****. So I said dont worry about it. I guess I can wait it out, what with DX10 and DX12 in transit as I type They should keep me busy enough until Xmas.

If the delay to MP13 is to ensure the QC is as good as possible then fair enough, nobody wants a character like Soundwave to arrive with some kind of issue.

I should still get Red Alert & possibly Warbot Assaulter next month and my HT Hawkeye should be here soon as well so I'm good for Christmas stuff.

Just read an intresting bit of info at TFW2005,

Hasbro's head monkey Aaron Archer has apparently said that a US release of MP Sideswipe would require a seperate deal with Lamborghini.

Given Hasbro's inherent cheapness I'd say that the chances of getting MP Sideswipe "Wal-Mart cheap" have just gone south.

such a great figure one of the best! mine came with one issue though! dr crank was missing the screw and circular black piece that connects the crane to the figure/hercs shoulder,luckily my seller says he can sort it!

Gears will be ordered ASAP, Beachcomber looks OK but isn't a must have and I'll probably not bother with Outback as his chest detailing hasn't been retooled to look like the G1 toy.

After Gears my most wanted Minibots are,

1.Bumblebee
2.Cliffjumper
( These 2 would work much better at this scale than the ones that are being made for PP04. There's also plenty of options for repaints to help raise cash for future projects. )

3.Windcharger
4.Huffer ( Bigger )
5.Wheelie

My most wanted release from iGear overall is still Impactor.

Looks crappy but it's not like I'd be bothered about transforming it more than a couple of times so no big deal, the robot mode is still awesome!

Got my Sideswipe in, a lot of paint issues on the vehicle mode. Overspray, bubbles, fingerprints, chips. Besides the paint issues I love him. Also, gave him a coat of wax to help bring a shine to his car parts, makes him pop out on the shelf now.

Yeah, sometimes the Hasbro ones are better, or at least just as good. Grimlock was different, but neither better or worse from what I've gathered. Some seem to prefer the Hasbro MP-10, too.

But I don't know... Sideswipe's a Lamborghini after all. I just think Takara's penchant for nice, shiny paint apps will look way better. Hasbro's bound to simplify the details, make the red look more toyish, etc.

I have to say though, Takara really dropped the ball on the Prime line. Hasbro's doing much better with that stuff.

I saw the Minibot pics - good stuff! I'll probably get them all, eventually.

The Beachcomber "shoes" do look a bit odd from the inside, but whatever. That's probably just the angle.

There is a whole thread dedicated to that on TFW, I think. Really depends on your personal preference, as both sets have their pros and cons. I prefer the complexity, size, and design of Hercules.
