That looks sweet Neil. How much was he?

With the 50% coupon he was $90... Still a tad expensive but it's a nice centerpiece for a cool display. The light up feature is really good. You can also record your voice (somewhat like Prime's but not really) to be played back. At supper I recorded a message to let my three year old hear Prime tell her to finish her meal and currently Prime's wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas"... and the way I look at it the points were good to add as well by getting it through SSC directly.

Aaah, to each their own then. :) I love his hulkish design, and the fact that he's an evil police car adds a LOT of character to him as well.

Having said that I'd possibly become a bit more open to Barricade if an HA version of '74 Camaro Bumblebee with Sam was announced as I'd then have a decent option for a display as right now it wouldn't really fit in with my plans.

In the translated interview with 2 of the Takara designers that was posted at TFW recently one of them said that "several" more HA's were planned for 2010 but as the interview was from a while back it's not yet clear whether that was referring to Barricade & Mudflap or some others that have yet to be confirmed. Within the current HA pricepoint the following should be possible,

Jolt
Sideways ( may not be fully licensed though as the Deluxe wasn't )
Skids & Mudflap ice cream truck
'74 Camaro Bumblebee
Jazz
Retooled Bumblebee ( with 2 regular arms )

Hopefully there'll be at least a couple more as HA Bumblebee and Skids have been my favorite Movie toys so far and Mudflap looks like continuing the trend.

I want an Ironhide and Lennox so badly, though it would be more expensive with the size of Ironhide. But the lack of them sticks out like a sore thumb in the HA collection.

For me, they're the second most obvious pair after Bumblebee and Sam.

Not sure what human figures were planned with them but Ironhide & Ratchet were originally going to follow Bumblebee but things were changed at the 11th hour to Sideswipe & Skids due to size/price constraints.

BBTS just told me that my TF Mighty Muggs are in stock. These could be some of the last Muggs made. I'm glad they released these instead of just canceling them.

I am not really digging Mighty Mugs..they were overpriced here but, when they went on sale at TRU i picked up StarScream and he is decent, only other one i will get maybe is Megatron.Jazz looks the best of the bunch up in the pic.

Yeah, but I wonder if they've written them off completely? Or maybe just wanted to see if the line as a whole was successful first?

Hopefully not as it'd be awesome if both characters got bigger, more accurate looking toys as their Voyager Class molds are poor and Ratchet's forthcoming Deluxe isn't much better.

Ironhide's my second favorite Autobot and I just love the HA line. Bumblebee is especially awesome, IMO. I'd love an HA Ironhide.

Sorry for the bad pictures, but i dont have a lightbox.
Im not very happy with how this turned out so im making a second one. This was a pain in the butt to paint, so im going to use what i learned from this one and make a much better one, and hopefully take better pictures too.
This was painted with metallic automotive paints and lacquers. Flames were hand painted and pinstriped. Robot mode was painted with enamels and acrylics. Energon swords were sharpened and modified to attach by rare earth magnets. Repro articulated hands from a 1/60 Gundam Exia kit.
