Just got shipping confirmation from Planet Steel Express on MMC Ravage which was a nice suprise as I'd read at TFW that there had been a delay until February 20th.

That blue on Windcharger is very bright, way too bright for me. I prefer the grey of the proto. It's a pity that there looks to be a hinge where his Autobot logo should go too. Other than that it looks great but after the QC issues I had with Apollyon and Ollie I have zero trust in XTB and I'll wait for someone else to have a go.

Don't know what happened with the color change. Very disappointing!

Looks like XTB have just announced a second version of Windcharger; grey instead of blue, and with silver instead of the white.

Agreed on the blue, I also don't like the uncovered screws on the forearms and think the feet are a bit messily executed which is a shame as there's a lot the figure gets right.

XTransbots/KFC ( same owner and the same factory ) have a fantastic designer but their build quality/general QC isn't the greatest and pulling BS like waiting for the 4th release of their Blaster to do the color scheme that was most wanted doesn't help their reputation improve any.

As much as I want a Windcharger I'm pondering whether to hang on and see if Badcube do one as I think they'd do a better job of the overall design, wouldn't screw up the coloring and after Sunstreaker have further enhanced their reputation for QC quality.

Fair enough on red Sunstreaker, the figure's not as huge a priority for me as the G1 version was but getting the red one will allow me to do a "reverse colors" setup with Tigertrack so I think I'll be in for a couple.

I'm very excited about Ravage, the MP version is a great piece of design given the scale parameters that Hasui had to work with but it's too small and weedy to look convincing in a battle scene against Bumblebee, let alone the bigger Autobots.

The tape mode on the MMC figure will be kinda useless as it'll be too big to go in MP Soundwave's chest but it's all about the jaguar mode which looks fantastic.

I had that too, but sold it. It was great and way more accurate but decided to sell off my Transformer collection.
