I thought about getting into this until I saw how many books I am going to have to read. When Marvel does cross overs...sheesh.

I think this will be great but somehow Marvel will [screw] it up just like Civil War.

I somehow see a killer story that ends very poorly.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think so.

I see the HULK eventually being "tamed" into the 'god' that he is....eventually he will get the respect not as a 'world breaker' but as a 'world healer'...I think it will be a good read.

So far, i have read Incredible Hulk 106 and the prologue. Looks good so far. Can't wait for what's coming up.

I know, it's so lame. I hate having to buy dif. issues of dif. comics to get 1 story. It's lame, it's so friggin 70's and 80's. 1 TITLE! I'll wait for the trades to be all half off at a con.

Like most of the crossovers nowadays I'll simply wait for the graphic novel when all the parts are neatly put together for one convenient (and pause free) read. I could see both sides raging to a stalemate when a third party--new massive threat threatens everyone and Hulk proving his true heroic nature and sacrificing himself in some way that makes him be remembered as one of the true great heroes. Not that I think he'll die by any means--- but I could see him being pulled into some other dimension--- alternate realm.... something. Oh, and if a couple of whiny superheroes were offed along the way that'd be cool too.

thats too many books and a lot of coin for one story... i agree with whats posted above and wait for the trade to be released in one big book.... ok, not to derail the thread but is there one released for Civil War yet?? i quit reading after the second month of books and haven't looked back yet.

For those who dont want to buy all the crossovers tie-ins, just buy the 5 part world war Hulk mini serie....This will be where the major smashfest will be.

On a lot of comic forums people speculate that Hulk will be stop by the returning Thor, or Sentry or even Iron Man (Who get his ass kick in WWH 1 and then disapear)...But in the end ,the only one Who I think will stop the Hulk,Will be: Banner.

World War Hulk looks pretty good so far. Hulk is going to destroy Black Bolt in the next issue. Iron man and Mr Fantastic is getting a nice beat down also.
