Just received an invoice from KGHobby. I'll wait to see some in hand pics before completing the order. Right now, I'm more inclined to cancel it.

Soosoo actually just replied to me and said he is releasing on Monday. Wont hold my breath but should mean you see a review early next week

Waiting for review too. I have the Premium 1.0. Mainly want it for a body with better proportions, a better cape and better suit material. But that all remains to be seen.

I’m happy with the premium sculpts and would like to use them on the Soosoo body. But I somehow doubt the heads will be compatible. Soosoo uses worldbox bodies, they have very thick necks. The Premium homelander has a very thin neck, the neck insert is pretty narrow because of this compared to other heads. If the heads can’t be swapped there won’t really be a point in buying Soosoo’s for me.

Although, does anyone know if there's a time frame we have to complete the invoice request by or risk KGHobby canceling our pre-order? Because KGHobby re-sent me the invoice request, so don't want my current non-payment to be interpreted as a potential flaky customer.

Oh boy, I hope that it ships in a week or two, that way hopefully it will arrive when I am just returning home. Perfect timing. If it ships tomorrow I hope I get back in time before it gets returned to seller due to being undelivered.

Fingers crossed it was improved. If not, I will need to track down some suitable heads.

PayPal invoices usually have a ‘completion’ date or something that indicates when they expire. Check the invoice in the PayPal app.

Hmm, I just checked and I don't see a "completion date." I did check the invoice from KGHobby and it says due date is 9/21...which is obviously a few days ago. Should I risk it by not completing payment or just reach out to KGHobby separately in an email?

Just reach out to them and say you are waiting to get paid from work or something. These guys are all pretty reasonable if you tell them, its when they are left not knowing its an issue which is fair enough.

Just keep an eye on the usual e stores. They are bound to get the odd cancellation or unpaid invoice so a couple units will become available at some point

Just got my PayPal invoice notice from Giantoy. Man, I want to see the fig before paying it off. It's for $167 so damn close to what I paid for the Toys Era v2. If the suit is better and the TE heads are compatible, or SST have indeed improved them, I will definitely get him.

Yeah, I think it's a clear indication that SooSoo isn't proud of the final product either. It's a head scratcher why they put so little effort on this particular product given that Homelander is actually an exceedingly popular character in the pop culture world.

In my 5+ years of collecting, I've never cancelled a pre-order before/eaten my pre-order deposit, but this might be the first time I do so since I'm almost certain SooSoo will pump out a much superior 2.0 later on.

I mean, they already showed off the final product headsculpts on their Instagram back in June. They took the extended 2+ years and did absolutely nothing with it. I doubt they took the additional 3 months since to improve upon it...moreover, from a production standpoint, I don't think that's enough time for any potential last minute fixes...but what do I know?

Giantoy has 15 days policy for those paypal invoices. Should be enough time for some reviews to come out. Then will decide if I will eat the deposit and cancel.
