Got a notice from our local retailer that these will arrive in the country in early July. I hope the folks at the customs office won't be such douchebags and put the statues on hold for a long time...(which happened to the Queen Alien diorama, the idiots at the customs had it for more than 2 months)

In case of the customs office in our country, it's nearly impossible to figure out what the hell they are up to. They never answer any calls or complaints, and even if they do, all they say is just wait until they come up with an official statement about the imported product in concern.

Processing notice is in! Looks like these will start shipping before the month is out, after all.

:clap:clap:clap

I can't wait to see pics. I just hope this sucker stays in stock long enough for me to get one.

Good to know. I'm really trying to stick with exclusives for these, but I'll go for a reg before I pass it up all together.

Ah yes, the exclusives. I suppose worst-case scenario, you could pay huge sums to get one from eBay. Hopefully it won't come to that, though.

Is anyone else hoping that the black ring around the base will be gone when these get to us?:lol Seriously, I had no idea prehistoric earth was so dark.:rotfl

I guess i'm more ticked because, I like to photograph these statues outside and make them appear real. It won't look realistic with a black ring around the base.:slap

Switched to Flex, so I am eager for vicarious enjoyment from my fellow dino collectors. :peace

I'm not that into exclusives, if Sideshow sells out I'll go for the reg. May have to go for the reg either way really.

I would love for that to be gone as well. This is me holding my breath :thud:

That base looks like it's meant to be submerged flush with a similar (real) muddy terrain.

An easy fix for the base would be trace it onto a wood block, have a woodsmith carve it out for you, stain, dry then set it inside. Of course you could go even cheaper and just carve the base area out of a foam block..paint and cover with dried moss from Walmart..that option would run about 8-10.00 ?

Ran accross a fellow artist from DA who is re-painting a SS Styrac. His previous work was really superb..can't wait to see this one finished :
