This is on tonight and repeating tomorrow before Sleepy Hollow in it's regular time slot. I'll probably watch it then.

While Celtic is right about shows getting canceled if it doesn't find an audience within the first few episodes, I don't think saying it's canceled before it's even shown is fair. Personally, I don't understand the appeal of Sleepy Hollow, and don't understand how that thing is a huge hit.

Btw, I don't think Fringe ever had a huge audience, but at least Fox gave it a chance. Now, Firefly, on the other hand... :lol

Firefly :(

I like Sleepy Hollow but can understand why some people don't.

I'm going to give this a chance but I know most won't like it since they've already decided before hand.

I'll have to stay out of this hate filled thread after it shows tonight since I won't be seeing it till tomorrow. :lol

I think Ween is misunderstanding logically speaking vs opinion speaking. :lol

The show could be fantastic. But if it doesn't hook a **** load of people within it's first few weeks, it's done. That's not saying the show will be bad, it's just saying many shows, even good ones, have gone down this path before.

Sniveling about people disliking the show before its even aired? :lol

I get that. Damn.

I'm done.

As a big fan of Karl Urban and cyberpunk I was really looking forward to this premiere, aaand I liked it. It delivered pretty much what was advertised, not a whole lot more, nothing less. It's totally derivative of every cyberpunk thing ever, but that's kind of okay since no live-action show has really done it; especially with production values this sweet. The argument could be made that it's just Fringe with a bunch of sci-fi mumbo jumbo instead of more interesting real-world smarts, but it seems like it'll be fun; and that's exactly what I expected. The relationship between Kennex and Dorian is the core of the show and that's one aspect that more than delivered. Looking forward to episode 2 tomorrow!

I would completely agree with that. The chemistry between those two was very strong and carried what could have been just another by the numbers future cop story.

I didn't finish it because Eastbound was on..but what I saw as OK. I didn't see anything that hooked me. Seemed kinda like generic cop show but in the future.

Maybe the stories will get more interesting later on.

Also....what's up with these guys being in the show?

Yeah, the Insyndicate(sp?) guys did seem more silly than awesome, I hope they become cooler as they're fleshed out. It was pretty generic in the story department if you strip away the awesome setting and visuals, but they nail the buddy cop thing so well by the end that it seems promising.

It could be very good later on. Nothing was offensive, so I'll stick around for a few more episodes. We shall see what happens.

I thought it was pretty cool, they covered aloooot of ground in a first episode and they did good at keeping you in the feel of the world they're creating. Unfortunately I missed the end, but I'll catch up before tomorrows episode
