There is a garage kit of the Tingler that has been around for years.

https://www.resincrypt.com/products/tingler.htm

The Pit and the Pendulum statue by Amoktime started out as a kit.Maybe they will do this one next. Since Executive Replicas is working with Price's estate maybe they will consider releasing a Tingler figure?

I think they are working on The Chaney's both of them already, as well as June Lockhart.:D It should be fun to see if they make more of these actors off of my list that never dies.:lol

Last time I spoke with the sculptors they were finishing several paintmasters of heads that haven't been seen yet. Pictures should show up on Executive Replicas site soon. The June Lockhart/Maureen Robinson figure is in production last I heard so that should be coming out sometime this summer. The hardest part about doing some of the other actors from that list is contacting the right people for licensing, and finding out if they are reasonable or not. Many have no perspective of how small the market is for these figures. They think when approached that these figures will be in every Walmart and Toysrus all over the world, and they want a paycheck that reflects that.

So are you saying that none of my other ideas on that list will come to pass?

Yruh8n is just saying the same thing I've said before. You have to get permission to make an actor's likeness. Doesn't mean it won't happen. But there has to be an heir to grant rights, and payment must be agreed upon. It's hit-or-miss, but you never know until you try. Sometimes you can't find an heir or an estate holder. Sometimes you find them, but they aren't realistic. Sometimes they turn out to be completely market-savvy, like the estates of Karloff, Lugosi, or Bruce Lee, and we all win.

If these figures would be in every Walmart and Toysrus all over the world, That would mean mass produced, and then the figures would not turn out as nice IMO.

The point I am trying to make is I do not want the market flooded with Sideshow Collectibles, Amoktime, or Executive Replicas. I like the fact that they are Limited Editions, and that we all have something that not everyone else does. :D

I also have concern that if they would make too many of them, The product would not turn out as nice.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Some of these celebrities think when you approach them about doing an action figure of them, they imagine them in every Walmart, Target and Toysrus all over the world. They don't understand that the most units the manufacturer could sell is 500 to 1000, not 10,000 +. ER approached a certain actor about doing a figure and the guy wanted $10,000.00 to use his likeness. If they produced 1000 figures they would have to add $8.00 to $10.00 to the price of each figure to cover the licensing cost. If the figure didn't sell out they might not make back the production cost and licensing fee. When some find out how small the fee might be they can't be bothered with it.

$10,000.00 to use a likeness!:lol:rotfl Who was that guy?:lol:rotfl All I can say is I hope it was the likeness of Boris Karloff. :D

Too me you would think the actor would fell honored that his fans think enough of him to want a figure/statue of him.

That is want is wrong with some celebrities now adays, Some of them forget that without the fans they would not be a celebritie.

That is one of the things that is great about Sara Karloff she has always done a great job making sure Her Dad lives on!:D

Sara I thank you for giving Sideshow Collectibles, Amoktime, and Executive Replicas the Boris Karloff licensing! :D

Does that include ALL of his roles, like Frankenstein's Monster and the Mummy?
