Anakin Skywalker PF Image Thread

SS should have made a PF of the pirate in Havok's sig pic instead of Blackbeard.

Oh, and my Anakin PF is due to arrive tomorrow.

She does look pretty good huh?

Ok I know I don't have pics but I will get some soon, he's back in his box since I don't have anywhere to display him, but I did open him up and stood him up to my Marvels for short time...

Just got my Anakin PF on Friday had him on FLEX and I got to say I love this statue, it's my first SW PF as I'm getting into the SW line, all the rest of my PF's are Marvel.

Took me a lil to get the saber to work but once I got the hand on snug, wa-la AWESOMENESS!!!!

With the hood draped over his head and with the sith head, he looks so menacing and sinister, just gives the vibe of the dark side, I love it!!!! :maul

Thanks man I appreciate it and I'm lucky to add this piece to my collection in November I was really thinking I wouldn't get this because of funds but then Sideshow had their switch from canceling to FLEX which really saved me.

Two guys I thought wouldn't be in my collection and have made it to my home are Anakin and Indy, I must add they are both sweet and the likeness is spot on!!!

Yep, both Anakin and Indy are probably two of the best likenesses I've seen on a statue.

Well I finally did it and bought the non-exclusive Anakin. Had to go non-ex as postage to Australia for it would have been almost as much as the figure itself. Its my first PF and I can honestly say the driving force behind my purchase has been this thread. I've been loving it so thanks all - especially who uploaded the photo's! Being my first PF I hope Im not dissappointed.

Now all I need is a Sith head. Will pay good money! Anyone???

Hi everyone, i just wanted to see what others thought of the light up saber on this anakin. while it is my all time favourite PF, i was quite disappointed with the light up feature.

The obi wan and vader PF's sabers connected right at the end of the blade and they were very very bright and completely illuminated to the end, but i have noticed on the anakin that is only lights up about 1/3 of the way then just dies out with just a little speck of light at the tip of the saber.

would this be because the power is running through the arm before it reaches the saber making it more weak?
(but then i notice darth maul is made the same way with the power running through his arm but his saber being 2 blades lights up fairly well.)

I hope sideshow goes back to the way they did obi wan if they plan to release any future PF's with a light up saber.

Yeah I noticed too the light up feature wasn't very bright on Anakin. I don't have the other PF's so I can't comment on those, but I hardly have the saber lit anyway so it doesn't bother me much.

Mine lit up pretty well, I only notice almost to the very end but like others said it doesn't really bother me since I don't have it lit that often.

I did see your first pic, Darth Con and it lights up further up the saber, kind of strange that it's only a 3rd of your saber on Anakin PF.

i noticed that on my anakin pf and thought it was normal, anyway its displayed with the saber unlit so thats fine with me too.

You can pick them at Lowe's or Home Depot. The tracks, brackets, and shelves are each sold individually, so you can choose the sizes you want. The shelves come in different lengths and widths. Then you just need to buy some hardware to mount the tracks to the wall.

Well, I just made my final payment on my Anakin PF and should be recieving him real soon.

I was suppose to make my last payment on the 10th of next month but things worked out to were I could pay it off a little earlier.It's good that I got this guy out of the way cause now I can focus on paying off my T2 EndoSkull bust,that and some HT figure's. I'll post pics once he arrives.

Try to apply some pressure to it when your pushing the hand in, so it fits snugly. I had a little trouble with mine also, but I just gave it a firm push and it worked okay. Just make sure you don't push too hard though.

Yep this is what I did, it took a couple tries since I was being careful and not wanting to break it. Of course there's tabs on the batteries whenever you open the base on the bottom as well. Never know better to cover all bases, LOL
