Same ____ different day. I didn't even TRY to read all this thread. Same fight whenever anyone posts about animal abuse.

Thats whats annoyed me about this thread and many similar threads before it.

It seems like you're not allowed to express anger and sadness over the torturing and killing of an animal without someone, for some reason unknown to me, feeling the need to ask for assurance that you still value humans more than you do animals. Are we such an insecure species that we have to in all circumstances, no matter how horrific the story is, say something like ''oh yeah but humans are still more important''. FFS.

Yeah I know someone here early on said something which kinda provoked the whole argument but still, as you say Ween, same _____ happens every time theres a thread on this topic.

I draw the line at peole putting words in my mouth. I never said that. Any of that. So before you type I would suggest knowing what the ____ you are talking about.

I value animals more than a lot of humans . I find a lot of humans to be completely useless . Don't do something to someone one wouldn't want done to ones self, stupid people are incapable of understanding this until something happens to them. Unfortunately, we live in a world with a lot of bogus laws. The people that are cruel to animals will never take their actions seriously until some real laws are passed on the subject. Playing Devils advocate, i dont ever see jail sentances being increased for animal cruelty cause that means more crowding in the jails, and thats one of the biggest problems in this country. Too many ass clowns and not enough space to put them. Beating on an animal is equivalent to beating on a child imo.

Yes animal cruelty is wrong, yes I am an eagles fan, yes I would be one of the first to stand up for Vick, is he a changed man? He says he is, he hasn't done anything to show otherwise. Ray Lewis, a living legend, convicted of manslaughter. Do we talk about that everytime someone murdering another living, breathing, human being is brought up? No we don't. But the second animal cruelty is brought up, alot of people think, Michael Vick, just let it go people!

If the Eagles were losing you'd hear a lot more about Vick's dog fighting. But if you win, people tend to forget.

But to say people murder other people so we should just let it go minimizes Vick's own conduct. The only reason be owned up up to it (after numerous denials) is because he got caught. If he never got caught, what are the odds he would have had some great epiphany about murdering dogs?

Corrected...charged with a misdemeanor of obstruction of justice. One year probation and fined $250,000.

In that thread that has since been deleted by the mods you said Vick has lost so much because of the dog fighting and you made it seem like he's suffered so much and it wasn't fair for us to bring up his past. I'd dig up the quotes, but Chicky deleted them all when we all couldn't play nice.
