i feel exactly the same way. cruelty towards animals is wrong anyway you look at it, its never justified. killing and animal for food is one thing getting your kicks torturing and killing an animal is another.

Seeing animal cruelty/abuse (mainly cats and dogs) bothers me more than harm done to humans.

May seem strange, but that's the truth. Skinning puppies and kittens, beating, butchering and mutilating them? No thanks.

Of course if a scenario presented itself where I'd have to save my family or our dog/cats, I'd pick my family but that doesn't mean I wouldn't feel heartbroken afterwards.

I'm no tree hugger, but I can't watch people beating/maiming defenseless animals. At least humans can defend themselves for the most part.

I understand people feelings they have for their pets, I really do. But I can't understand or agree with how blurred the line is with some people about animals versus people. I understand animal cruelty is horrible, but IMHO not comparable to some of the heinous acts commited on other human beings. Long, long time ago I dated a girl who loved her cat. We got in an argument one time about how if her cat accidently got out and was getting ready to be hit, she would rather the driver swerve and die then hit her cat. We broke up soon after. Just in my opinion no animal is equal to any (normal) human.

Personally, I'm more anti-cruelty than pro-animal.

Same ____ different day. I didn't even TRY to read all this thread. Same fight whenever anyone posts about animal abuse.

People take things to damn literal. Fighting about who is the lowest form of scum is stupid. They all come from the same pond in my opinion. Waste of human life.

As for the whole vegan vs meat thing. We all eat things that are alive or once were. That's the way it is. Such is life. Let it go.

Hell no, of course not. An infant/child is an exception. They're more defenseless than an animal. I couldn't stand the squealing, involuntary movement to escape danger, and screams of agony in a small child, just like I couldn't in a little animal.

A grown human being though, that's entirely different. I could watch em get mowed down, chopped up, burned, skinned etc. I may not like it, but I'd sooner see that ____ happen to them than babies, kids, and pets.

This is a point of view issue. Being for capitol punishment can be every bit the indicator of valuing human life as being against it can be.

I am all for capitol punishment if it protects the lives of the innocent from human predatory monsters.

However...I am not for it if people are killed for something they did not do. And it appears that happens much more than some want to admit.

All kinds of abuse is wrong,but people abusing babies or animals are what i react strongly on,someone abusing a helpless animal or child is so cowardly when they can't fight back.I bet one day if i ever see someone do this to an animal,the guy won't even dare to look me in the face if i ask him to try go at me.
What is going through these people's mind?The feeling of having superior power over the poor helpless animal,____ing cowards!

I didn't click the link but apparently a stranger being cruel to animals is cause for you to be cruel to other fellow humans and collectors, threads like this serve no purpose, you can't stop or change what happened, all your doing is alienating one another with your worthless opinions. 20 pages in a day, the collectibles we've waited for years for don't get that kind of response. Its stupid.
