So I only like a steak because I was conditioned to like a steak?
My wife and I are incompetent parents because we let my kid crap in a diaper?

Of all the elitist, condescending garbage.
Agreed. According to that reasoning then, I should like vegetables. My parents tried and failed to get me to like veggies. I've sat many a night at the kitchen table because I wouldn't eat my veggies. If mom "conditioned" me to like vegetables like she tried to do, then I should love them today. Why don't I? Could it be a personal choice that the taste makes me gag when I try to eat them?

So meat eaters are brainwashed and can't help themselves and vegans are tree hugging girly men?

My conclusion is based upon logic. IF there are cultures in which ALL of the women can do this, then they have that competence. By comparison, therefore, every woman who can't, is incompetent. Does that make sense? Don't misunderstand me. I am aware of the fact that women who can't do this are trying, but when I read of successful approaches of OTHER women who can achieve this, it leaves me disappointed with how things are done in Western Cultures, and leaves me wanting more. That's all.
I sure would like a link so I can read up on these cultures. I want to know what their lives entail. Please provide.

Well, I would learn to recognize if my baby was going to poop really quick too if I had him strapped to me for 3 years. If not, you get ???? on alot.

I agree that you started out meaning well on here and had alot of good points. But yeah, your posts are now getting a bit crazy. That diaper post is hippie. To say that is saying alot of people are incompetent. Let us know when you're perfect and flawless. The tiny bit of fun this thread had is dead. FAIL.

Actually I think that a major reason why more people don't like veggies is that they have a chemical taste, because there are pesticides and herbicides used on them. Organic veggies have more flavor without the AWFUL chemical taste. That is MY experience, anyway. Meat has lots of fat and sodium which covers up the taste of those chemical residues much better.

They are very non technological. I think I read about them in one of Joseph Chilton Pearce's books, like Magical Child. I can't really recall exactly since I read it over 18 years ago.

There is some truth in what you say. These women DO have their babies with them at all times, often strapped to them. That much closeness all of the time is what facilitates the close bond that I spoke of. There isn't any reason why women in the U.S. couldn't do the same thing, and achieve the same kind of success, except that it isn't perceived normal, cool, or the picture of success. It is unfortunate that as technology advances, it seems like women are becoming more detached from their babies, as if it is more modern and advanced. This replaces bonding with technology, and results in young children raised to be more superficially minded and emotionally detached. Is that a fairly reasonable prognosis?

I said incompetent, compared to others. I said relatively incompetent, basically. How about I use the phrase, "less competent". It means the same thing.

Look, I wasn't the one who brought up not knowing to drop one's drawers before one does one's business as it pertains to conditioning of human beings at an early age. devilof76 was. The fact is that I have other information that pertains directly to that very subject, which is absolute fact. devilof76 brought UP the subject way out of left field. I just DIRECTLY responded to that. How can you possibly fault me for responding to a left field topic brought up by someone else, addressed in a direct manner? Unfair. Tell me that what I brought up about diapers has nothing to do with what devilof76 said about no.2 in the pants. He brought up a topic that was out of left field, and I gave a direct response to it which, as one would expect, was also out of left field. He brought up toilet training, and I responded, telling him that there is in fact a more natural way. I really think that is fairly reasonable.

I thought I was coming to enjoy a thread about all the people who are vegetarians. I am of course, a meat eater.

Then I stumbled on this crap. Damn!

...You conveniently forgot to mention pollution destroying crops which, by the way, we have you to thank for! I mean, you support China, right??...(which happens to be the world's top polluter!). So in essence, you're committing the same sin as us meat-eaters...

I keed, I keed!....................??;)

I think some women are becoming detached from their children because they don't care about them in the first place. They're kids when they have them, or they use them for the freebies they can get from the government.

IMO, most mothers would love to stay home and be with their children, but in this day and age, most need two paychecks to survive.

I personally would never have children unless I could afford to stay home with them until they reached school age, but that's just me.

btw....because of the jobs most of us have, it wouldn't be logical to have a baby strapped to you while doing it, nor would the boss allow it.

Actually, I do not support China...

Yes, I agree with most of what you say, although it seems to me that there has to be a way for a mom to work from home and take care of the kids. One parent used to be enough to earn all of the wages in most households in America, but not anymore. I think the income tax has a lot to do with that. It didn't used to exist, and is double taxation, and so it is unfair. It is unfair because the company that the person works for sells a product that they pay the taxes on the PROFIT of the sale of, and then they use the same money that they already paid tax on to their employees, who then ALSO have to pay a tax on the SAME money, but they didn't even make a PROFIT! I think it is very unfair.

Think you misunderstood my post. The crap, that was the stuff you're feeding us. Take a big whiff.

devilof76 brought up toilet training, which has everything to do with crap, so OF COURSE I was talking about crap. That was the subject that devilof76 brought up! But hopefully, we can put that crap behind us now, and switch back from the exhaust to the intake of food for the human body.

:confused::confused:...really!?...you don't collect anything made from China????

Yeah yeah yeah. He who is without sin, cast the first stone... polystone :)

I would prefer they be made in the U.S., but some companies want a LOT more profit than that would allow.
