Yeah their shipping is absolutely nuts,
in fact it made me adjust my unit order entirely.
 
I ordered 2 DF120 back in 5/3/23, put 50% down payment

They billed me the final balance which is supposedly billed once product will ship… on 4/11/24 which I paid. That’s almost 6 months since I’ve paid the product in full and I don’t have anything. No update. Nothing. Just an email link with an estimated BS schedule. Which seems to keep changing

I also placed another order for 2 more DF120 on 11/24/23. Same thing. Paid deposit and they billed me final balance on 6/24/24

I find it hard to believe these cases have been sailing for 6 months lol

It almost has that feel of TW bs going on. They shouldn't be at sea for more than 3 months max.

The fact you ordered your on 5/2023 and I ordered 8/2023 and you still don't have yours, makes me way less optimistic that mine will be delivered soon, let alone actually shipped.
 
So on Friday I emailed them …

“Can you please give me an idea of when the order I placed will be shipped? I paid my final balance on 4/11/24. That’s is almost 6 months ago and I have yet to receive ANY updates.
This is ridiculous”

This morning they emailed me this…

“Thank you for your email,

Sincerely apologise for the long wait

Our team informed that they will dispatch your order by today

You will receive a tracking number as soon as the courier picks it up”

Now I don’t know if this is a lie to shut me up lol. Or if I just happened to email them right when the orders were scheduled to ship or what. Or if the only way for them to get off their butts and ship stuff is to email them. I truly don’t know lol

My experience with them after only one or two exchanges about a custom set some years ago, was that their communication sucked and I didn't like the idea of having to chase someone to give them my money -- it didn't bode well for when they actually had my money. So I never dealt with them again and didn't use their product.

Does this mean they are shipping it from California, or are they air shipping it from Singapore? I wonder if I should email something similar since they told me 7 weeks ago that mine arrived at the ports in California, but I have yet to receive any more updates.

After my current experience with them, I'm not to sure I will deal with them again myself. They have responded very quickly to any email I have sent, but it all seems to be bs at this point.
 
I just sent an email regarding my order, shipped out to sea second week of July supposedly. Four months out to sea is absurd let alone your wait time. I don’t want to be dealing with such a large package (DF1801) during Christmas and New Year’s Day. Currently I’m scheduled for second week of November for California arrival.

Thankfully I will not purchase any more cases after this, from any company unless to upgrade. I’m sticking with the DF1801 to house everything and I will not dedicate any more space to the hobby so long that I’m in it.
 
finally… lol… in a few months I’ll have to email them again about my 11/2023 order if I don’t receive it soon lol

I was going to look into placing an order later this year/early next year but after seeing all of these posts I'm starting to think if I should just go down the custom built garage shelves option.
I mean, I trust that I'm going to get what I ordered....eventually. My problem is more with that you are left completely out in the dark with where and when your order will arrive.

Their website claims 4-6 months to ship out your order by sea. Then it's supposed to be at sea for around 10-12 weeks. After that get dispatched from the warehouse in California when you finally get tracking information.

All you have to go by is the updated sheet on their website that says when your month batch is shipping, or is at sea, or has arrived at Port. They don't even update any info on your personal order when you look into it. I don't see how any of the shipment info is accurate on the site or email updates when you ask for them.

If my order didnt actually ship by sea until July or August, thats fine with me. Just dont try and tell me it shipped end of April/beginning of May and that its been at sea for 5 months. The fact that I was told almost 2 months ago that my order was docked and pulled to the warehouse to hand of to the carrier soon.

Obviously Im in this hobby, so I'm good and used to the long wait. I just don't like to be purposely misinformed and given the run around. In the end, I'm sure my display will turn out amazing like all the other moducases I see, just be real with me and I have no problem waiting for your product.

Exactly this. Just keep me informed. ESPECIALLY after requesting the final balance. Paying something in full and having to wait months with no updates. And I’m sure had I not emailed them I wouldn’t have that tracking. Why do we need to email them for them to send us what we paid for months ago. Send them an email and see, maybe they prioritize when people email them in frustration
 
Man that was weird, I emailed yesterday about my order, was told basically nothing but a screenshot of the schedule from their site.

This morning, I check my email to find a UPS tracking number saying my order is with UPS now. So strange, if anyone is still waiting for their Moducase shipment to be delivered around this time, do email.

I’m forever thankful I didn’t make a custom display, the previous schedule would have placed my order for delivery in the middle of December right at Christmas.

Correct, August of '23. I didn't do any custom sizes. I ordered 7 DF120's, a couple DF60's, risers, some half shelves, toppers, and a few other odd end items like that.
 
My order contained 3 DF120s, 3 DF60s, riser shelves,
plus other add ons so it was easily swapped out for another person’s order.

Keep us posted if you hear something,
your order seems pretty extensive but after these wait times there should be no excuse as to why you don’t have them.

I wonder if it’s at all possible that they may have shipped your order to someone else like they’re shipping someone else’s to me.

This is what happens when you don’t
have boots on the ground at your Cali warehouse actively communicating and updating the status of your order throughout the process.
