OX, you're exactly right. Mike told me the same thing. He did tell me of a new product Code 3 plans on releasing next year. I don't know who the hell will buy it right away after all this but it does sound cool.

I'm glad to hear it. I do like their stuff.

A smart collectible manufacturer understands that perceived sustainable value and fear of a sellout drive sales, which in turn drives perceived value, and so on. If everyone knows they can get it later cheaper, they will. Quality product is an absolute must, but edition sizes, marketing and initial prices also have to be well tuned to your market. It's a very tricky business.

Mike at Razor's Edge I believe still has TIE cases, haven't seen the Slave I cases in some time, you might have to go with a custom on it.

I got the regular Slave I from mike for about $160, so only $40 more for the SE is a pretty good deal. I wouldn't be surprised to see the value for these Tie Fighters to go back up to where they were in 6 months to a year after this influx. This is just a liquidation of the stock they had so dealers got them for incredibly cheap.

I will let you know. It was about $85 shipped. I got it for "flight" mode. I think the Tie and X-Wing cover will actually fit it in "landed" mode, but I really wanted to display it in flight mode.

$85 is a lot for a case but I just don't know how I want to display these now that I have to SE's that need covers. I've pretty much ruled out the Detolf idea and they would fit great on the entertainment center but I should really get covers if I'm going to do that.

Check the website, not 100% sure. I think the X-Wing cover is 1" taller.

Yes, the same cover fits the Republic Gunship, X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and Slave I (in landed mode).
