Loving how this turned out, looks just like the proto.

Not at all. The paint colors they used are significantly duller, muted, washed out. The colors seem to be off, and the shading around his ribs is missing.

I really hate how Sideshow has protos on their website, and the final product is different.

Alright. Here's mine. In a word: awesome!

I'm very pleased with him. No issues I can see. I know a bunch of people will complain about the weight (he is surprisingly light), but since I am not planning on making a habit of picking him up, to me it is a non issue. The weight is mostly in the base, which makes sense to me.

Head and left arm are separate pieces, in case you were wondering. Tubing has wire in it to make it posable.

Based on what I've been charged in the past for custom work, toss in shipping because he's huge, and you're looking at 3-400.

Shouldn't be allowed. Don't show me a custom painted prototype on the website, and then sell me a mass produced product. Show me an example of what will actually be shipping out to customers.

Why is he listed as 35 pounds on their website?

For 600$ you'd assume they'd put more effort into paint aps.

It's been a hit or miss with Sideshow lately, I'm picking mine up tomorrow but if it's not as impressive as what was shown at comic con they can shove it up their *****

waiting for more high res & close up pics to make me buy the REG,, till now I heard mix feedbacks from the FB group, two got him with few QC issues,, hope today pics will change my mind.

I'm going to wait until some better pictures show up online, but there seem to be some big differences. Just at a glance, the paint colors used are much duller and appear washed out. The color of his legs seem different. There doesn't appear to be any of the careful shading on his midsection, or his arms. The lateral lines that run across his legs don't seem to have the outline that the prototype has. And finally the face is, obviously, not as well painted.

These are just quick impressions. I look forward to seeing better quality pictures.
