Gizmodo is full of ____. They are still sour grapes over the whole iPhone 4 incident with them. First, they didn't run the tests, iFixyouri did. Second, the thing according to them was just the outercasing, it had no internal components which means nothing to absorb the shock except the glass itself. Literally it'd be like taking to pieces of their class screwed together with a space in the middle and tossing that on the ground. The fact that it withheld even three drops before breaking with nothing but the glass to endure the shock actually fills me with more confidence than less when I get my actual iPhone.

Well I'm happy to report that I went in to Radio Shack today. I was supposed to pick up my Evo. I talked to the guy and told him to keep it. I asked if it would be ok if they kept my pre-order and just moved it over to iphone when they started taking pre-orders. He said no problem!

Not going to lie it was a hard one. Had the Evo been on Verizon I would have went that route hands down. The salesperson also told me that they will have a much better stock of iphones then the Evo's.

I disagree and agree all the same. However, a board friends wife said this. If you get X you will be upset that you didn't get the iphone. If you get the iphone you won't worry and be glad you bought it. That's kinda how I was thinking.
It was a very tough decision. I do believe that the android phones are right there with apple on their devices. Some of the features like 4G and multitasking they do even better. They also offer FREE navigation. I just want the iphone. I put a LOT of time and effort into the research. And that got me no where but a ton of fan boy articles about how one is way better than the other. I personally came to the conclusion that I would be happy with either one. Still I'm going with iphone so I don't have to wonder any longer. Not sure if that makes any sense? 
Either way I can't wait to give it a go! I hate leaving Verizon and if my service sucks I will get rid of iphone no problem. However, I don't think it will be a problem. So bring on the 24th! PS
Whoever buys the white iphone is probably ghey.

I get ya. Having had the last two gens I think you totally made the right decision. I have no problem with my service from AT&T.Well, for what its worth I'm getting the white iphone.

Just double checked my bills and it appears I will be able to upgrade to the 32 gig. I originally thought I could only get the 16! Although I'm not sure I will use the 32? I only have 8 gigs in my blackberry and I still have a gig left.

that's because blackberry's suck and don't have near the apps or other things that you'd use on an iphone (movies, music, games/apps, etc.) so they tend to really not accumulate on a blackberry (i have one for work).
love my iphone though and can't wait for the new one
