Speaking of Apple, I just went to a "hiring event" to work at an Apple retail location..... Very rigirous hiring process!

Just heard back from Best Buy. Due to the AT&T Allocations they only received 10 32GBs. I'm number 19 on the list. She said they supposed to get shipment in tomorrow or Friday so looks I'm getting mine sometime over the weekend. ____ you AT&T and Apple for ____ing up this preorder so much. Oh well.

Yeah, totally not BB's fault, those bastards (Apple & AT&T) dipped into their allocation and took my iPhone. Got a call today and was told that they didn't receive enough to cover all pre-orders. I'm hoping that they get some more soon, but as long as I have it before SDCC I'm good.

received mine today. I went to activate it by calling the at&t number. I got to the part where I gave them permission to disconnect my old phone. Then the call dropped... now both my old phone and new phone have no service. I tried calling the help line but they were closed. I guess Ill have to go down to the store tomorrow.

The hiring event is just one of three steps to land a job there. It went well though. It was what I expected, with some videos, introducing yourself to a room full of people, and perform a skit....

I'm in line right now at the manhattan beach store. I got here at 4:45am and the line was literally around the mall.....

So I called Fedex--My iPhone was picked up in Fort Worth Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM, but didn't leave Fort Worth until 11:08 AM Wednesday. It apparently took another 20 hours to arrive in Oakland, where it is still sitting. It's definitely not out for delivery and hasn't even reached my local Fedex facility yet. The woman on the phone said that there was still a "chance" that my overnight delivery that was originally scheduled for Wednesday by 3PM might arrive by the end of the day on Thursday, but she couldn't say for sure.
