This was taken under harsh work floresnts.

I didn't really have time to look at it at work. I just whipped it out, snapped some IPHONE pics and put it back in the box. I did this for you dweebs so I could listen to the _____ing about my poor quality iphone pics. Risk my job for you bunch of twits and nag, nag, nag about my pics. Boooo.

Overall, I like it. I think the paint looks good and the detail is amazing but I really do have to open it again at home and take a good look at it.

Well, to be fair when pics get posted all things get dissected. So it's not really anything personals.

It's all good. I'm used to being called him on these boards.

Cool. Hard to know until you know.

Hooded sculpt looks considerably better.

Factory paint apps once again hurt an amazing Trev sculpt.

Hard to really call that don't you think until we see pics not hurt by the light used and more pieces show up?

I'm quite happy with the sculpt and paint. Mine's eyes are not as off as the lovely lady, Fremen's...

Good pics Fremen. Here are some of mine and it doesn't seem to suffer the same wonky eyes as yours. This is an excellent piece. Paints are are GOOD not excellent but consistent. Sculpt is fantastic, definitely 2nd best Aragorn sculpt to date behind Andy's PF Proto. I'll take more pics later if anyone wants or if you want to see it with other pieces.

It looks great! There is, to my eye, a difference in the face of the hooded production piece vs the proto, almost like he is wearing mascara. I never thought of Strider as turning into a girly-man in the wilds of ME! (or would that still be called metrosexual?)

It definitely looks good, but the face seems to look a bit too long. I'm hoping it's a fish eye effect from the cameras

Yep. I think my Ex head is going back. I usually try to ignore these eye issues but not on my LOTR stuff.

Man, I don't know looks really good in those pics and both sculpts look as good as the PF to me.

I personally think it's slightly better than the PF we actually received.

Looks ok, but the regular head really isn't all that; I will know for sure tomorrow.

I actually like the regular better, the exclusive unhooded sculpt doesn't wow me like in the proto pics. I actually have changed my position since originally I thought the hooded looked worse than the unhooded

The pics honestly do not help. This is one piece that looks very different in hand, for the better that is.

It's nice to enjoy this piece vicariously through the pictures. I decided to stick to the PF line as I don't gave space/funds for both lines. I think the maquette line is going to get fuller faster than the PFs, but I'm so happy with the ones I have that I couldn't bring myself to ditch them. I hope everybody who gets Aragorn is happy with him.

Definitely agree with you there. The sculpt is the same it's just the preference of taste. Also, with a bit more shadow in the face it would look better in the pics.
