I guessing this thread is Price related! i havent read it dont feel like it but! i will say! that First i yet to see BR players go up in price, SEcond if they do who cares! DVD is still kicking there ass especially the whole Upconvert thing( people are stupid and think they will get HD out of em so they just by those) and second i buy my movies at Amazon or at target(when they have the BOGO free)

So in all! IT REALLY DOESNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME!

It's not the point that I already have my players. Many (you might say most) people had waited for a clear winner in the format war. All of these people are the one's getting the shaft by Sony.

I guess it's OK for Sony to through millions (maybe billions) at studios to get exclusive rights as long as they hike up their costs to the consumers to make up for it.

The simple way that I can tell you is, look at it as a re-mastered movie. Fox rushed AVP onto Blu-ray, and didn't do a good, clean job on the codec. The blacks are blues, not true blacks.

When they re-release it, it will look better than it does now. Worth the wait.
