I just agree with the article that Sony has not lived up to their end of the bargain by dropping BR player prices after the war was over. I don't even think I would've minded if they had stayed the same, but to see them increasing 20-30% is terrible. It would be like Microsoft saying that they were going to raise the cost of the 360 after it'd been out for two years. Don't you think there would be an outcry then?
And you should care because the less people that have BR, the less BR movies are produced and the higher the price. BR is still competing against standard DVD and is only a niche market right now.
